Heavy crystal is usually made with a percentage of lead.

Glass is not.

Glass is an amorphous solid and so is not a true crystal. True crystals can be made of a wide variety of elements and molecules with many different colors derived from the way light is reflected or absorbed by those elements. Glass is usually composed of silica and must have colorant added to provide the same kind of color variations.

Crystal is a solid. Glass is a liquid (yes, although it's a very slow liquid) and mostly made of silicon.

Crystal cannot be made with lead or we'd be dead like the Romans. Crystal is made from Crystal, and glass is made from heat.
