I think you also have to read John 14:12-14 to get the full meaning. It must be in accordance to His will and prayed for in the name of Jesus. Also, be sure to read verses 25 and 26 and make sure your heart is right with others. If you aren't willing to fogive someone or help someone when it is possible for you to, then why should you expect God to do it to you? And God does answer prayer...sometimes it's just not the answer we want to hear.

Mark is the name of the book; 11 is the Chapter number; 23-24 are the Verse numbers for the actual selection of the reading. In other words, you would go to the Gospel of Mark, move to Chapter 11, and read the verses marked 23 and 24.

In simpler terms: if you truly believe, then whatever you ask shall be done.

go to biblegateway.com and go to keyword look up. you can look up the passage by Mark 11:23-24 and it will give you every version of that passage imaginable. maybe a different version will help you better to understand the meaning
