Should Yahoo really be bringing in celebs and public figures to ask questions?

I'm serious. YAHOO/ANSWERS should be for everyday folk. It should not turn into a forum for sports figures, movie stars, and other Public Figures to air their favorite causes.

What's next? TV Evangelists? The President of France? GW Bush?
Osama bin Laden? Soccer Players?
Tom Cruise asking us why the world hasn't accepted Scientology? Angelina and Brad asking us how long to breast feed their baby? Or Jay Leno asking us for the funniest jokes we've heard lately? Or some scientist fishing for new concepts about Quantum Physics?!?

These high-galutin' Gosh-Aalmighty rich and powerful people have their OWN folkways and biways, to which We commoners are not privy.

So why should we let them in here?

Let's keep YAHOO for the
Yahootians and leave the so-called Culture leaders all by their lonesome.

They must be jealous--That we have some place, where we can meet each other, without them getting any ego-worship. Without them conditioning our minds.
Let them answer, NOT ASK!

You make me want to be dauntless

How big is your family? (Think beyond biology.... or not.)?

I have been preoccupied with this question because it causes us to examine how we define the group of people to which we have a relationship and for which we feel a responsibility.

For example, if your family is as big as your school district, you won't believe in property taxes going into a state pool and distributed to all school districts equally based on need. If your family is as big is your state, you will believe in richer school districts funding poor school districts within the same state.

For example, if your family is as bigger than your country, you may believe that immigrants should be allowed the basic priviledges of U.S. citizens such as in-state tuition to state schools or Medicaid.

If you family ends at your driveway, you may think, "Me for me and you for you; who gives a crap about anybody outside my circle."

Just curious, how big is YOUR family and why?

If you'd been a woman living in Medieval times would you have obeyed society's rules for women?

Women were not permitted to learn to read or write. They were thought to have smaller brains than men. They were thought to be evil by nature because of Eve. When a woman married, she was the property of her husband and subject to his will in all matters. If he died, her family could again marry her off to whomever they wish. Do you think you would have obeyed and done what was expected? Do you now? Or would you have rebelled to be who you feel you wanted to be or had to be, especially since it could have meant you'd be branded a witch or worse and be put to death. What would you have done?

think of something that does not have a beggining.?

how can soething nbot have a beggining..where did it come from..time is a succesion of events.....but what was the first event....god has no beggining and no end....? it's one of those questions that makes u fell that u don't have enough ram in your brain...that you're too small to procces something that big... NO beggining...what was before? how ?...where did it start..? .this question is very old..u're gonna laugh but it's like ...what was first..the chisken or the egg?!
