Click on to this site http://www.nyfa.org/nyfa_current.asp?id=17&fid=6 which is the New York Foundation for the Arts. Look under classified/opportunities for artists. You should see listings for internships with a variety of artists and institutions, including photographers (or digital/ video artists) and galleries.

Another place to check out would be the bulletin boards at some of the photo processing places in the photo district, as well as ads placed in Gallery Guide, Photo District News and other industry periodicals. Visit International Center of Photography and inquire about internships there as well. Good luck!

You should check with the internship coordinator of the photography or arts department of your school. they should be able to point you in the right direction. You can also check with galleries in your area and see if they are seeking interns.
