Since the 4th of July is coming up, and people tend to complain about bordom, I thought I would ask a few questions about the Revolution.

1. In what war did George Washington fight FOR the British?
2. Who wrote, “Common Sense.”
3. Who said, “We must hang together or we will surely hang together.”
4. Why did Washington cross the Delaware?
5. On what night was this Delaware crossed?
6. What was, “the turtle”?
7. How many times was the turtle used?

you got number 3 wrong it was "We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately." by ben franklin at the signing of the declaration of independence

it came (the crossing that is ) at a bad time with low morale in the continental army. they lost a battle and crossed it to prevent a what could have been disastarous battle for the army. since there were few farries at that time it would have been hard for the large british army to succeed in even crossing.

christmas night.1776

Turtle was the first American submarine, invented in Connecticut in 1775 by David Bushnell as a means of attaching explosive charges to ships in a harbor.

1. French and Indian War or 'The Seven Years' War'
2. Thomas Paine
3. I am not certain, but suspect someone such as Patrick Henry, Ben Franklin or even John Jay.
4. As a strategic manuever to divide his troops on this side and that side of Trenton and engage in a style of attack he had admired of the Indians in the previous war.
5. Christmas day, when Washington suspected the enemy would be resting.
6. Sounds like some academically titled minutia that was likely some sort of ship and may even have proven relevant, but is blusteringly pointless in a discussion of broader history. (In other words: no idea)
7. --
