Happiness is a state of mind - whether you have everything handed to you or have to work your patooty off for it. (I fall in the latter category).
It has to do with being able to accept yourself and who you are, and fully embrace it. If you know you've done the best you can, you have a lot of satisfaction from it, however, you can also be happy if someone hands you $1000. The funny thing about it is it's all transient - it only lives in the moment. 3 weeks from now, that $1000 will be all gone. Then what - where do you find your happiness? I have a secret - it's inside you - being comfortable with yourself, seeing what a wonderful creation we live in, enjoying the small things on a minute by minute basis.
Have you ever found enjoyment in holding a beautiful baby? that's happiness. Have you seen a rose in your garden while you're rushing off to work and stopped to admire it and smell it? Wonder why it has attracted you to it? that's happiness.
Do you enjoy a meal with your family nightly? Joke with each other and support each other in all their trials? That's happiness.
Have you every had an old dog who tries to follow you around everywhere, even though he's limping along and breathing hard? That's loyalty, love and happiness.
Happiness can be all around you. All you have to do is open your eyes - and guess what - it's all handed to you!

The one who has everything he wants handed to him
* Even though he gets everything he wants he will not be able to live happily since he never worked hard or thought smart to get the one he wanted.
* Without playing a game it has been announced , you have won in soccer , will u accept this win ,we all know we can win or loss in the match ,but the thrill is to get the win / loss never matters but the way u have tried itself to get that win matters.
Even if u have lost in the match/life it is a best part of ur experience and made you to prepare for another win.
* A creator gets happiness and satisfaction in his things since he sees his imagination come true before his eyes and he has his effort put
* You are given a chance to give birth to a child and u will be happiest man since u have made ur effort and put ur love to promote urself as a dad or will u expect some one to help u and will u be happy .
* The result is u want a child ,but putting effort by urself matters a lot than someone giving u what u want .

There is something said for working hard for the things that you want in life but also there is an appreciation and gratefulness that comes when you receive without doing the hard yards. So I will have to say that the measure of happiness is in the hands of the beholder, and depends on the attitude of the person and where they sit with their own hearts and mind.

The one who works for everything he knows would be happier because he knows that he earned what he has and he deserves it. That will give him the confidence in knowing that he can get anythin he wants if he tries hard enough!
But the one who gets everything he wants handed to him...( tsk tsk ) .. it won't last because someday there'll be no one to hand him what he wants , what's he gonna do then ? HE has no idea how to work for what he wants because it has always been handed to him !!

I would say the one who works for everything he owns, because he will feel that he has accomplished something and he will take better care of it- rather than the one who has everything handed to him.

The one who works for everything he owns. Because he knows he owe no one. And, if it came down to survival, the one who's been handed things to them all of his life would not have a clue in what to do. He will starve.
Give a man a fish, he will eat it. Teach a man how to fish, and he will eat for many of days to come. You get my point.

The one who works for it. He can appreciate it. He knows what it's like without and how much sweat it took to get where he is. He's not going to take anything for granted.
Someone who doesn't have to work for anything also can't appreciate the value of anything - including simple pleasures that aren't related to money.

The one who works for what they have has the pride that goes along with that. They know they are responsible for their own success.

The one who works for everything he owns as long as he doesn't make any dumb mistakes such as getting married to the wrong lady.
