There are hundreds of great acting schools out there. The key is to find the one that matches your artistic beliefs and style. You can be at the best school in the world, but if you don't agree with what and how they are teaching you, it won't do you much good.

John Robert Powers is a TOTAL crock....The North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC is an EXCELLENT program, though. Some of my classmates (I graduated in 1983) have gone on to perform important roles in many theatre (including Broadway) productions and films..

You mean a great acting teacher. The "school," does not teach! Teachers teach.
Call the universities in your city and ask them about their acting program.

Yes I live right down the street from Allan Hancock. It has a PCPA and a REALLY good reputation. It filters right into HollyW.
People like Robin William went there. No lie.

yes, John Robert Powers. They have classes and auditions. There are many JRP`S throughout the US and one in Canada in Toronto.
