I had the loan originally for $5000 but got it down to 3,000 left . It's a 94 4runner and it needs a new transmission which is pretty pricey about $1500 at the least, I have $1,200 in my savings now so I'm pretty screwed. But over the past week I was looking around for a new vehicle and found a few for a relative good price and i was wondering if i should get a loan to buy a new car and pay off the old one or just get the old one fixed and then wait a few months and get a car that is more desirable for me

I have a 2000 mazda 626 it still starts and if i start it in a gear it will drive in that gear. I was thinking maybe its a spring problem because when i pull it about halfway up the spring pulls it back up.

As an employee I am concerned at the rate of redundancies / staff turn over. We are being told that we need to save money, and yet we are losing money by maintening a high staff turnover. Between June and December of this year 17 have left by way of resignations, sack or reduncancy. Our total work force is approx 100.

If anyone can offer suggestions, I'd really appreciate it!

I have a hanging lamp that is wired into the ceiling. The light bulb burned out and I went to change it.

I tried to unscrew the bulb but it seemed to be stuck. The next thing I knew, the glass part of the bulb came loose in my hand -- but the bottom part of the bulb, the metal part with the screw threads, is still stuck inside the lamp fixture!

I got a pair of tweezers and tried to grip the edge of the metal bulb part, to try to unscrew it, but it won't work.

Has anyone ever been in this situation and is there a trick to getting a light bulb part out??

I was wondering if I sprayed WD-40 on it, maybe it would loosen up, but I don't know if that would be a fire hazard. I would hate to lose this lamp fixture but I guess if all else fails I can just replace it.

... is suitable for a very intelligent and sensitive eight-year-old boy?
I have not read the book but have seen the film and given the themes I wish to bolster the boy's confidence through his reading (which no-one could object to given so much emphasis these days on the "literacy hour" in schools).
Failing that could anyone suggest any other books that would be suitable for him given that it seems that he will not be allowed to express *himself* by joining a drama group (in which he would excel).

I am currently on 50mg of Clomid and 500mg of Metformin. I was concerned that this may not work for my husband and I. We have been trying to conceive for over a year now, and on the medication for a short while, and still nothing. I would like to know if these medications do not work, what are other things that women like myself have went through. Im not talking IVF or IUI, just some ovulation inducing medications. Thanks for your help!!
