I am currently on 50mg of Clomid and 500mg of Metformin. I was concerned that this may not work for my husband and I. We have been trying to conceive for over a year now, and on the medication for a short while, and still nothing. I would like to know if these medications do not work, what are other things that women like myself have went through. Im not talking IVF or IUI, just some ovulation inducing medications. Thanks for your help!!

If it doesnt work this cycle, your doctor will most likely bump up your dose. If after bumping up the dose a few times it becomes clear that it is not working the doc. will most likely change your meds. I went to Gonal F when clomid didn't work for me. Im guessing that you are taking these meds beacuse you have PCOS? ( I also took metformin, and I have PCOS) You cannot go on to do IVF or IUI if first you are not ovulating. Your doctor will want to get that ball rolling first. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I am going through the same thing. Good luck.

I even have been with the aid of some comparable stuff to boot. I even have pcos additionally. Clomid @ a hundred and fifty mgs with a series off shot works nicely for me, regrettably, the sperm and egg by no potential party for some unusual reason. i'm on my thank you to IVF. I def think of you may come across all your suggestions and stay nicely recommended. i'm assuming that fifty mg didnt paintings,. try 100mg with the hcg shot and offering your tubes are open and each element else is in working order you will get pregnant. There are tests which would be carried out alongside with an HSG ( i think of histologram) a try the place they inject dye with the aid of your uterus to make advantageous your tubes arent blocked. it somewhat is comparatively painless. solid success
