i've been invited to a new years party which my ex will be at with his new girlfriend. he practically got with her when we were still together and just stopped speaking to me. i'm still not over him. i do want to go to this party though to see friends, but i don't particularly want to go and see him and her together. i don't know whether to go and try and have a good time, or do something else :S

Why does my PC crash (Blue screen of Death Driver Error) half way through the burning process when I attempt to burn data from a shared drive on my home network? Do need to configure something different on my PC's? BTW, I'm transferring the data via WIFI.

We recently purchased a new puppy for christmas. Now, I know puppies bark and chew and all that fun stuff, but I just want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong. We are crate training him at night and I'll play w him until he gets tired and falls asleep, at which point I put him in his crate. He's fine at this point but will usually wake up within 3-4 hours and start crying. I'll let him out then to go potty outside (which he does) and then give him a treat and put him back in his crate. At this point he'll cry for up to 45 mins - 1 hour. Is there something else I should be doing? He has a toy in there, and a tied up shirt for scent, and he gets a treat for going back in. So my questions is, does that routine sound correct? Is there something I can do when he cries for so long? (I've heard yell "no bark" or "gently hit" the cage?) I don't expect him to be perfect yet, but an hour of straight crying does seem a bit much?? Anyone? Thank you!

I realized that I take my self way to serious. It seems like I cannot simply laugh about my past mistakes and I always blame my self about (normal) mistakes I made in life like failures in exams in study etc. I see even Michael Jordan laughing when he misses a dunk, although he is known as a master of dunking etc. I always have a good sense of humor but I cant discover the sense of humor in my past mistakes. How can I do it?

I have a second home in a ski resort so I'm going to be skiing a lot. Last year I went and got my own boots, skis, and polls. I went to a place called surefoot which did a custom mold of my feet. Supposedly it was supposed to hurt when I was breaking in my boots, but it was supposed to be comfortable after that.

I skied for a week or so last year and have skied about a week this year and the bottom of my feet still hurt, especially my right foot. It doesn't hurt as much when I'm actually skiing as when I'm just standing there or in the chair lift.

Should I take the boot back and ask them to adjust it or should I give it more time? Do you think I should try a thicker sock or anything?

my moms best friend just recently had twins and she spends ALL her time around her best friend and her 3 kids. one of them is 4 years old and she talks about how she absolutley cant stand her, but she stays there anyways. my mom is never around me and when she is all she talks about is he rbest friends problems and her husband who is outcheating and never there for the kids and stuff. my mom even spent christmas, thanksgiving, and soon new years eve with her best friend!! then when shes home she talks about how her best friend is a ***** and stuff like that. since her best friends husband is out cheating thats her issue for marring him and having kids w/ him b/c he was cheating before they were married and had kids!! My mom had to raise me single he rwhole life and her friend has no reason why she cant. When will my mom be MY mom again and stop being THEIR 2nd mom whose uneeded!?!?!?!?!!

finishing basement, want to hang drop ceiling panels, however there is ductwork running through one side, dont want to drop whole ceiling below this cause it does not have tall floor to ceiling height, does this need to be drywalled or can drop panels be hung vertically to go around duct? thanks

ok....i was supposed to start my period on dec 22nd...i started spotting very lightly, no cramping on the 23rd, it lasted for 5 days dark pink, light pink to brown...i didnt even have to wear anything at all, it wasnt consitant but it would come and go...well, my Q is this...what position is your cervix supposed to be in after your done with your period??? high? low? soft? hard? before my period or what i thought was my period it was high and tightly closed, and softer than normal...when i was spotting it was lower and hard...towards the end of my spotting it was really really high, tightly closed and kinda soft again, and still is...so after your period where should it be????? please help me understand =) thank you sooooo much in advance!!!! no rude answers please, and thank you's!!!!

my dog is very itchy and I found tape worms in her bowel movement last night...i had already had a Dr. App. for monday it at 9 for maybe mange..it was also bloodly like someone had dropped maybe 2 drops of food coloring on top of it...but its only at the begginning and end of her poop...like its her anal glands doing it...I read that they can do this to her if there swollen...I don't no if they are or not but her butt was blood red and it had a white discharge...today it looks pinker but its got a small dark red spot in the middle...she wants to play and jump around but with blood in her stool should I let her do that...anndd she wasn't eating last night unless it was from my hand and this morning she is reallly hungry...gave her a pinch of garlic powder...not alot let me stress...about 15 pieces of dog food covered in it...then the rest plain....is the itchy ness from the worms?...Thought she might have mange...but shes only got red blotchy spots and a little hair loss nothing major..
