I realized that I take my self way to serious. It seems like I cannot simply laugh about my past mistakes and I always blame my self about (normal) mistakes I made in life like failures in exams in study etc. I see even Michael Jordan laughing when he misses a dunk, although he is known as a master of dunking etc. I always have a good sense of humor but I cant discover the sense of humor in my past mistakes. How can I do it?

Just laugh and say something like - wow, that was so silly of me - and move on. Don't make it as complicated as you think it should be. It'll get easier, especially when others laugh "with" you and start seeing you in a different, more positive light.

Recognizing it is the 1st step so congratulations. Now, keep on....it's not really a mistake...it's something you tried that didn't work like Jordan missing a dunk. Learn from it and try again.

Build on your mistakes as no one in life as ever been successful at anything without failure first!

Do not take yourself so seriously as life is too short to dwell. Go out and do something great. U may forget about the other stuff!

It's the past right? Well then just tell yourself you'll learn from it and eventually everyone will forget about it. When you learn to laugh about past mistakes, you know that you've fully accepted what you did & you're ready to start fresh and new.

Detach from yourself, then Study M, what are his likes dislikes, what others think of him and why. what areas of improvement. hatmakes him cry and why, what is he sensitive about, what was his most embarassing moment.....write all this in a diary to yourself...and add to it each day, and once a month read back from the beginning...getting to know yourself...that is the cure...

Dont ever let life get you down, smile even when there is so little to smile about...its as that easy to do...

Be Loved, Happy and Wise.

Forgive yourself out loud.
Also relax your pact to keep your act intact. That means chill out once in a while about getting things right or trying to be seen as someone who gets things right. I usually tell myself "whoops there I go again being human."
No matter what happens you are still a wonderful person.

Just realize that you are not perfect and see how silly the mistake was. Having others join in won't hurt either!
