Yummy. I make pea soup quite often. Maybe instad of making the taditional heavy soup, add less peas, and add some different root veggie to it such as a yam or even a few lentils. I often times clean the frdge out in to my pea soup too, so I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to homemade soups
Remember you'll have to season a bit more/ differently because you won't have the delicious ham flavor in it.

I hate double cooking poultry by adding it to soup. I'd much rather have a turkey sandwich with honey mustard dressing.

Not so good. It would be better in a mushroom soup. Or make homemade turkey noodle soup.

sounds pretty good, especially if its cold where you are. its about 70 degrees where i am........ in December!
