My friend had a dream about me and a close guy friend of mine, and this is what she told me (a little background, the guy is named Eli, and my name is Elise):
"All right, well ... I asked Eli ... (prepare yourself) if he would want to 'make love to you' (but he never answered). Then, later, when you walked by him, you were all like "Love you, Eli!" (but you meant it as like a friend) we keep walking, and I turn around to look at his reaction, and he had stopped walking and was looking at you with his mouth hanging open.
So later, we watched a recording of all of this (because for some reason I was recording it all with a video camera) and I remember saying "Look at Eli's face after she says I love you! It's hilarious!"
Anyway, so everyone was sitting at the lunch table except you, and me and [your best friend] were questioning Eli, and we found out that basically a small part of him ddn't want to like you, but a larger stronger part was in love with you.
The End!"

The asker wanted to know if anyone truly believed that Gandhi was hell-bound.

Given some of those answers saying he will, in fact, go to "hell" - has your opinion of Christianity, its beliefs, and its believers changed at all? Negative change? Positive change?

What do you think of religion's hold on humanity given some of those answers?

Are you at all saddened by the answers proclaiming that Gandhi, a man who dedicated his life to doing good for humanity, will go to hell rather than those who simply "accept Jesus"???

No question laws needed changing, horrific and terrible injustices were commonplace before 1970....

Now that the laws have long been changed, civil rights leaders like Sharpton and Jackson consistently and aggresively pervert Dr King's message- "to unite the races, to forgive, to heal wounds"; Dr King's message is God's message. I won't argue King, the man, wasn't flawed, it's his message that we honor; that's what it is all about.

The laws have long been changed and it's time to cease inciting racial conflict. Sure, racisim exists and needs to end but race baiters prolong the conflict, instead of healing.

Wouldn't it be a tribute to Dr King to proclaim Sharpton, Jackson and all other opportunists to be silenced and politicaly excommunicated on the forthcoming Dr King holiday?

Once or twice a year my sinks/toilets slow down and I have to have a plumber clean out my main line. The last two times they have said that because of roots in my sewer line (big pipe from house to city sewer line) there isn't much they can do.

One plumber said $3000 to replace the sewer line.

So, is there anything I can do to get rid of the roots or at least abate the problem for a year or two?

Just wondering where I stand with this one. I have a neighbor who repeatedly files noise complaints which the police find to be unfounded. She talks badly of me to our neighbors. She talks badly of me to people who come to my home to visit me. I gave her written notice that if she continues to discuss me with our neighbors or if she continues to talk to my visitors I will request a civil restraining order against her for harrassment. She is now threatening to file suit against me for harrassment due to noise, to file civil action because I have revoked her constitutionally protected right of free speech with my letter and that I have threatened her with my letter.
Does she have the right to talk about me or to talk to my visitors who have no desire to listen to her?
Is telling her to stop talking to these people or I will request a restraing order considered threatening?
Just not sure what to expect next.
Our apartment manager has sided with me if that matters.

A bunch of driver's stopped and some even went to the side of the rode when an ambulance was coming but it was on the opposite of the rode where the traffic is going the other way. There's even one of those street separators with grass inbetween that side of the street going that way and the side of the street we were on. Why were the cars on our side stop? I hope this is not a sign of respect because this is not the time or the place to be trying to show respect? People are in there cars and expect to keep moving. What ever happens with that ambulance on that side of the street is not going to affect us on this side of the street, If by some long shot, that ambulance could get his truck over a small curb with grass to get to our side of the street, his truck would be damaged.

my friends sister tried the diet and it made her boobs from a b to a c but when she stopped eating it it went back.. is there any way i can eat regular foods with jello to keep the size if it happens? or is it bad for you? i have no clue help me out. also if you've been on the diet what do you eat other than water, milk, and jello that will still make it work or there any recipes?
