You are part of a whole. With your work you could initiate a "spark" but the collaboration and contribution of the collective are required to get that spark going.

Everybody has a part to play, everybody is crucial important to the overall process but at the same time alone you are meaningless.

It means its not just you in the world. That there are others that have the same problems and weaknesses. Though it does mean that you are not insignificant but not known to the world. I my own opinion.
