Christmas. I had a few simple presents and I was happy with those.
We just use the safe ones like party poppers and roman candles. I feel sorry for our dogs during new year celebration (firecrackes give our dogs a nervous breakdown). We can't do anything about neighbors lighting very strong firecrackers because it's a tradition in our country.

Actually new year is like a tradition, its more on starting anew . Christmas.if you'll take it seriously, that is beyond the superficial gift giving, the food and commercialism that it has become, is way much important than the new year. It is about the birth of the Savior Jesus Christ who came to save us. It is about us being saved from our sins and be back again to God's Holy presence. It is about God's Love,the destruction of our death and the restoration of ou life.
So definitely new year and Christmas may be celebrated in the same season but they are way to different - Christmas means a lot and with this, I would greatly prefer Christmas.

Both, because when it's christmas I get present, and I like New Year because it part of my tradition. I'm vietnamese so.
