I recently watched a film titled "Sicko" that was directed by Michael Moore on health insurance. In the film is exposed the difficulty of obtaining health insurance and presented a long list of pre-concieved illneses one could have that would make it extrememly difficult to get health insurance. In my childhood, I had a minor bout of tourettes syndrom that quickly went away after a couple of years, but my record of this may still be in some hospital file. Should this little snag be any concern to me?

why is it that we always choose the non-white descent rather than the white? If your great great grand mother was native american and everyone else in your family was white, wouldn't you claim to be native american? if you are 1/64 african american, but you appear 100% white, why is it that you will choose to be called african american? why is it that on wikipedia one person is half cherokee and half Irish is listed as only native american, while a person who is 1/32 cherokee and the rest american is listed as cherokee? do white people hate being white, and are obsessed with finding non-white roots in their family histories so that they could have a reason to call them selves non-white?

I been dating this girl for 5 months now, my feelings for her are strong I love her. But there is something,that's been bothering me lately. I'm the romantic type. I like spending my time with her alone. Sometimes, it doesnt bother me much if im with her friends as well... but,we're totally different.I'm the type that always wants to talk to her, we live an hour apart.so i dont see her as much as i would hope for.I'm affectionate. She's not.Understandable.I've always wanted to be the person she is,doesnt show emotions, cares, but doesnt make it obvious to her the world, just her.But i cant be, ihave a few issues,she's asked me to change my ways if i want to keep her around.meaning being less emotional, calling less, giving her space.I agree,but is it wrong to ask me to change the way i am?should i continue with this relationship or calling it quits? Ok, are wedding reception will be 50-60 people at Japanese Restaurant... we both drink, along with all our friends, but no one in my family drinks and just a few relatives in his family drink a glass of wine or so...

So should we just go no alcohol? I don't want it to look like all the young people are drinking and the "adults" are not... plus don't want to make my family uncomfortable.

I'm planning to build a new computer with 4gig ram and I'm wondering how to install them. I know for Vista that you have to install 2gigs first then install the OS then install the next 2gigs to get the full 4gigs. Is XP like this or can I just put all of it in at once? Help, never used XP in my life.

when i go out to a bar, its gotten to the point where i dont know how to stop when i am to drunk. i recently started taking kudzu for it,, but anyway, my friend says to me, "i just get nauteous when i get to drunk thats how i know to stop" i WISSHHHHH (gosh u have no idea), that i would get nauteous when enough is enough. does anyone know why i dont get nauteous if ive had enough and she does? do u think she is at blackout levels when she is nauteous or do people just react differently to high levels of alcohol ( some vomit others dont)

I know that Claire's is mainly for little girls and teenagers. But I can't get enough of these cute accessories! I love buying those cute key chains, cell phone charms, hair clips, tiaras, body sprays, etc. I've loved Claire's ever since I was 13, but I didn't have any money to buy them. But since I received money for Christmas from my relatives, it wouldn't hurt to buy some cute accessories.

Just because I love Claire's doesn't mean I don't shop for things that are for my age. I also have accessories that are for my age.

So any of you is over 22 and still shop at Claire's? Please no rude answers such as telling me to grow up or there's something wrong with me. If you have nothing nice or anything appropriate to say, leave now!

This is a sister question to one I asked a few minutes ago.

I have read from the Abraham-Hicks books that they refer to God not as the titile God but as Source.

"When we use the word God to express this Non-Physical Source Energy, we find that because it reminds people of the ideas they already hold around this world, it often prevents them from being able to find the deeper clarity that we seek to provide..."

They go on describeing the Source as being pure positive energy. And we are his extensions.

Looking back at questions I've seen on this forum; this believe or idea of God is to me the most purest.

Many feel condemed and/or fearful of not believing in God.
..to which I ask; which God? ...the God that sociaty or thier parents have instilled in them. Or is it the idea/s of God?

Any thoughts?

I been having this problem for a while. I get headaches few times a day before. So I quit coffee. It got a lot better.
Then I realized my head can't stay focus sometimes, and it feels like cloudy and can't even do simple math problems right away. I got fired from my jobs cause they think I'm stupid or can't stay focus. But I know I'm not stupid, it is just my head gets cloudy often. I search online, it might be chronic headaches or A.D.D. Lately, I been drinking Red Bull, it helps so much. It keeps me sharp and now I know how to do tasks correctly. I don't want to rely on Red Bull forever, i know it's not healthy to drink it often. But I need it. Can someone tell me what's going on that my head is not focus before?

me and my ex didn't ever really get along after we had our son. And now he's four months old are we haven't been together since he was about 2 1/2 months old. He cheated on me in January, i stole 20 dollars from him in November.... But he broke up with me for that but for some reason i stayed with him after i found out he cheated. But for some reason i feel like i need him. He's dating the girl he cheated on me with, he doesn't buy our son anything now, he was always emotionally abusive in some ways. Like calling me retarded for little things, calling me whore, slut, ***** ect. And was always accusing me of cheating when i never did and he was. And i want to know why i still have feeling for him?? I dont really want to but its extremely confusing!!!! HELP!!!!!!!
