I am wanting a tattoo, and if the purple lotus signifies what i need it too, then thats what i will get. But I really do not want to make a mistake.

There's a local paper looking for journalists. I have a little expierence with a different local paper that's distributed monthly....I've done 3 articles for them. Anyway, this new paper is on a much larger scale but I want to get in so badly. My question is do I show up with my resume/cover letter/writing samples when I know the managing editor is going to be there and ask to give it to him directly? Or do I submit it via email the way the help wanted ad said? I only ask because its a journalism position, so I feel like being bold and showing up there would show my capability. Which do I do?

Just wondering b/c I still think about my first love (we were also each other's first sexually). I don't think about him in a wish I was still with him kind of way...mostly just wonder what he is doing in life and if he is happy. It has been 4 years since we were together. I've found the perfect toddler bed for my son that we both absolutely love. Problem is, it states that its for three years and up. I was under the impression that toddler beds were for basicly 18 months and up, give or take depending on the child. Why would it be for 3 and up? It's a basic toddler bed with rails and its low to the ground, etc. So should I go ahead and get it or what? My judgement is that it would be safe for him but being a mother I don't want to go against an age guideline and my son get hurt. So anyone out there ever go through something similar and what did/would you do?

Buys you 0 for christmas not even a card after you spend Christmas Eve and day cleaning, cooking for him & his family in addition to taking care of his disabled sister with out 1 person lifting a hand. Goes out with his buddies Christmas night, Has been out after work with the guys and when you call thinks he hung up on you but you hear his conversation and all he is doing is bad mouthing you & calling you terriable names which I can not repeat here? Next day acts like nothing is wrong. Is this someone you would want to stay stuck married to?

I am 14 and I really do feel like I am living a pointless life. I have never kissed a boy or had a boyfriend, and I don't even know any boys. I have only three very good friends, and they all live about an hour away, so I rarely see them outside of school. I have no friends where I live, and really don't know how to make any. I am terrible at sports and don't enjoy playing it, and the only hobbies in my area are sport orientated. I spend my time reading and on the internet. My problem is exacerbated by the fact that I have a sister who is a popular socialite and she spends her time going to parties. No, I could not ask her to invite me, because 1. she is five years older than me 2. we do not have a good relationship and 3. I can never be myself around her as she has the ability to make me feel so small. I know I am only 14 and maybe my social life will improve as I get older, however that is what I tell myself every year and nothing has changed. I feel so pathetic..

I need a change and want to paint my living room and kitchen. The problem is that I have catheral ceilings and my kitchen, living room and dinning room are all open. The carpet in the living and dining room is burgundy and my furniture is a cream color, walls are currently a mauve color, I need a new color without having to replace the carpet right now. Would like all one color with an accent wall. Any suggestions?

i've been trying to get pregnant for 4 years now. Last monday, I started peeing a lot ( 2-3 times every hours), which is not normal for me. I also stated salivating and feeling tired all the time (which is very unusual for me), and I feel this weird almost pain like feeling on my lower back and thighs, and I would have cramps like when i'm about to get my period. Also when I eat and my stomach feels heavy,,,i would start gagging but nothing would come out. 4 days ago...i started feeling bloated and constipated...and I am now 2 days delayed...but I tested and I got an inverted T instead of a + result....i used the clear blue -/+ hpt test, im not sure if that's a positive or negative!....this is very frustrating!!! my boyfriend thinks I'm making all this out and I'm not. I wanted to smack his head! if he only knows how hard it is...I can't even eat and I can go anywhere because I get tired easily...

I'm working at a part time job and my boss usually has me work on friday- sunday. but lately its been scattered. and i called her 3 times adn all the times she was gone and i told the guys there to tell her to call me so i know when to work! and we usually have a calendar up with our names on it but she hasn't had it filled out yet! and i usually work tonight adn i called not there. and she doesn't get to work till about 4 and i usually have to be to work by 5:30 and i'm at my dads house and it takes me about and hour and a half to get to where i work and get ready and stuff. so...what the hell should i do?! go into work no questions asked or should i not go in because she never called me? my friend she's an irresponsible employer...who agrees? please help. thanks.
