i would probably want to live in the 1700s if they had womans rights and medicine I could live back then or the roaring 1920s. I just loved how the women dressed. Flapper looks.

Better check your books. In the 18th. century, germ theory had not been developed and medicine was even cruder than it is now. Women's rights consisted of keeping quiet and having children.

For myself, being American Indian, I'd choose any time prior to european invasion.

I am not as interested in where we were as were we will be. What will it be like in 50 years? or 100? 1000? 10,000?

But to answer your question, I would live in Rome in 200 AD. It would have been amazing to see the architecture and roads and massive buildings, made with bare hands and simple machinery, no motors or hydraulics. The mosaic art built into the architecture.. the water and irrigation system.. the Colosseum in its prime..

That or Tenochtitlan, the capital of the Aztec Empire, around 1400 AD. That's assuming I could get over the problems of sticking out like a sore thumb being white and the routine religious human sacrificing. It was a metropolis with streets that were kept lit at night by torches. For its day that was a new concept, even for European standards.

I'd love tobe back in the Ice Age. The cold and snow, simple survival skills. Living with your family/tribe each dependent on the others for their survival. Sure there are many modern conveniences that I would miss but they are simply crutches used to feed our laziness. The world must have seemed so much bigger back then full of mystery and wonder. Perhaps you would be responsible for making an important discovery in weaponry or farming/gathering or maybe you'd be the on to head off to the horizon and lead your family to a new and better home. It was a time when a person was truly limited only by themselves.

Probably the future, when everything is modern and people probably found a way to fly, cuz i'd like to fly. Or the day I was born, see how my parent thought of my name and why (names Carmella). But, the one i'd really like is Elvis Presley's years. To be able to rock n roll, let go and have fun! I want to live a life which i'll remember! Also, maybe the creation of the earth, I want to be the first women in space!

May I choose 3: Victorian minus the staunch restrictions for women. The over-all style is sooo pretty! Let's kick back time to the 1970's or 1980's I MISS disco!

You hit the mark with the 20's.
1920's id like to be in my twenties ( if i can), great fashion, men's suits, women's dresses all dapper. Id want to be in NYC, check out the jazz clubs, the speakeasies, go to Coney Island in the summer.

Back in the old western times, when mail men did not deliver bills that said if I don't pay it will be taken away. I still would like to be so far back in the sticks that I live off the land and get the freedoms back our forefathers wrote for us. Gvmt is a evil power hungry enity and we are heading back to dictatorship. You will have to pry my guns from my cold stiff fingers...

I've always thought I was born in the wrong time. I would absolutley love to walk around in medieval times in the flowing gowns and flirt with knights.

Then I remember I have indoor plumbing and heating.
