I just thought it was easier than sending two cards to everyone. We live together and it just made more sense that way. His (and my) family seem to be reading more into it than there is. He took some convincing before he let me do it too. Do I just not get this hidden meaning behind it?

Is there anyway I can download software for my daughters computer on to my PC and burn it to a disc or use my jump drive to transfer it to her computer. We don't have her computer set up to the internet (she's only 8). Thanks for any help

anyone can comment on this one, if you are an atheist, Christian or Muslim etc., put your beliefs to the side for a second, and think is it possible. this is a theoretical discussion so no point of proving anything from scripts. I personally don't believe that there is more than one, but am unsure if theoretically its possible.

So I'm still getting used to my new Trailblazer (I used to have a RAV4 with AWD that I never had to worry about 'switching' into 4WD). Anyway, so there was snow on the ground last night up here in good ol' NH, so I put my truck in 4HI and it seemed that everytime I made a turn, my wheels would bind and hop if you will. It was so annoying and just didn't feel right. My husband said I should have only put it in 4HI if I was stuck and that I should keep it in 2WD even when it's snowing. I'm so confused - I though 4WD was supposed to help you when driving in snow!? As much as I love everything else about my Trailblazer, this whole 2WD, A4WD, 4HI, and 4LO thing is driving me insane! My RAV4 was always a nice smooth drive and did much better in the snow.. Can anyone offer me some advice on when to use 4WD on the Trailblazer?

Hi, my name is Gretchen and I am 18 yrs old. I just wanted to share with all of the parents out there who are raising teens that we actually do care what you think of us. Yeah, I know we can be pretty cold and seem like whatever you say doesn't effect us, but that isn't the case. We act that way because we are scared as hell. We are in that freaky place called high school where we are desperately trying to fit-in and many times the only way to do so and not get hurt is to act like nothing is bothering us. If your teen is emo or goth (www.urbandictionary.com for those who may not know the full spectrum of those words) PLEASE do not be dissapointed in them. I may not be myself, but I have pleanty of friends who are, and they are the ones who care what their parents say the most. There are very few cases that I have seen in which when a parent insults or compliments their teen it does not effect them at all. So please keep that in mind when you speak to us. We do care, I promise.

Whenever I turn on the TV I see loads of documentaries by loons like David Icke and Bob Lazar who believe that UFOs are piloted by little green men, but are there actually any serious scientists who believe this?

Has any "real" scientist ever published a serious paper in a science journal supporting the belief that UFOs are alien spacecraft? Or even given a speech in support of the idea?

If so, I'd really like to know which issues. I'd even like to know if any of the have published a serious peer reviewed paper against the idea.

If some say that people commit crimes because of mental illness, bad upbringings, etc.; all reasons that are not the fault of the criminal. Then does that mean that some criminals are innocent? If humans are a governed by their DNA, and humans cannot control their DNA then why blame people for things that they are not in control of? So which is strong DNA and your rearing; or your free will? Is our fates layed out the moment we are born, and the formative years (ones that are shaped by our parents and surroundings) are finished and irrevesible when we are tots?
