We want to find out what the needs are for our troops fighting right now, we heard they need silly string and pre paid phone cards. I want to hear from anyone who knows someone in the military or knows what the real need is for our troops currently fighting the war, maybe even if you know who we can contact. This will be a "project" and learning experience for our Girl Scout Troop. We have 14 girls ages 8-17, so please let us know what we can do to help?!! Thank you so much for your time. We are getting married in May, my parents said its okay to ask for an HDTV on our registry, but I think that is too expensive. However, she stated people ask for China, and that is expensive. I already have my mothers’ china, so we will not have anything else that is outrageously expensive. We will be registering at Sears, as it is a common store. In light of the fact HDTV’s will be the only source of television come March of 2009, unless you want to buy a converter, which costs almost as much as a new TV. Is a new TV appropriate?

I was able to use my CD ROM and CD RW drive a couple of months ago, but when I tried to use it now, it's as if I don't have the drives. When I insert a CD, the drive where it's inserted don't appear in My Computer.

I checked in Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manger and saw my CD ROM and CD RW drive with a yellow circle with an exclamation icon beside it. When check the properties, I see the same message:

Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)

I already tried uninstalling both drives through device manager and rebooting the PC (they reinstalled themselves) but I still see the same message in their properties.

I need to do something very important but it is hindered by this problem. Any help or idea of what's the problem about will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
