I've read about some cases on here where some atheists say that after they read the Bible, they became non-believers. To me, it would seem that people that read the Bible and "find flaws" would either want to switch religions or become agnostic. I don't really believe the statement, "I read the Bible and then I became an atheist."

To these atheists: Why was it that you chose atheism immediately after reading the Bible?

Im 22 years old and I been dating this guy on and off for about 6 months but for the past month its been more like boyfriend and girlfriend. were going away for valentines day to mexico for a week, we never really did anything with each other. I just bought a very cute dress for dinner with my boyfriend's parents (first time meeting them, eek!) and here's the issue: it shows my panty lines. Should I wear panties and not care about the panty lines, while appearing more...I don't know, chaste or something to his parents? Or should I wear a thong, which might look kind of slutty? (The dress is actually quite classy and won't show the thong itself, but rather the absence of panty lines).

Am I overthinking this? Should I just wear a thong and to h.ell with it?

Can't figure this one out...i dream i was inside a swimming pool...but before i slept i wasn't feelin too good emotionally...could it be that? I was just wondering if a website or forum that calls for the killings of a certian group of people can be shut down?
Lets say for example its a British forum online where British citizens around the world log in and can post articles, and it so happens that some users do call for killings of a certian number of British people etc, how would one go about reporting this or would it be even worth it? Could law enforcement track down the ip address and the owner of the site and compel him to clean up messages and arrest the writers of such inflammatory writings??????????

Well yesterday i ruined everybodys christmas by starting fights. My mom said the best thing for me to do is move out. Should i? I mean i hate starting fights but i seriously hate the fact the my whole family is not talking to me. Right now im at my uncles should i just live here for now on? Can she take oral contraceptives? I am worried it might harm our baby as I heard some chemicals go in the mother's milk. I also heard oral contraceptives may cause cancer. If my wife regularly breastfeeds my baby can we atleast have sex and be sure she does not get pregnant for the next 5-6 months?

I'm talking about holocaust denial bans, or anti-Klan or anti-Nazi laws.

These laws are usually sold as being against racists, but usually end up being used against the left.

In the U.S., laws against marching in political marches wearing masks were SUPPOSED to be against the KKK, but were NEVER enforced until the 1980s, when Salvadoran refugees, demonstrating in Washington DC, wore masks to protect their families against the U.S.-supported secret police in El Salvador.

Shouldn't we forget about passing such laws, and just have decent people gather around racists when these vermin appear in public, and out-shout or overpower them?

I am very afraid of giving the government the power to censor politics.

However, I have no problem with decent people cleaning the streets of this garbage.

Some argue that it can be good because it makes alcohol seem less like a forbidden temptation and makes them less likely to get drunk and crazy as soon as the opportunity comes up. Seriously, whether you like him or not I find it stifling to have to see 50-60% of the questions in here about Ron Paul. It has definitely caused me to slow my use of YA dramatically. Have you had the same reaction?

woke up and looked at the time and not known if it was AM or PM?
