I'm going to America and planning to download some movies onto the iPod. Since I can't recharge it on the plane, I wanted to know how long I can use it... Never tried watching videos on it.

It should last about 6-8 hours.

Selected Aircraft seats have power sources ask them about that.If its the apple I sat next to a guy Miami London and he used it all the way.Depends suppose on sound levels and colour etc...Would think it would be ok for half the trip as its longer going than coming back.Should mention it was the new touch screen model with improved battery.

I have an ipod classic , it says i get 8 hours playback , but when i watch movies etc i'd be lucky to get 5 hours.
