I just bought a very cute dress for dinner with my boyfriend's parents (first time meeting them, eek!) and here's the issue: it shows my panty lines. Should I wear panties and not care about the panty lines, while appearing more...I don't know, chaste or something to his parents? Or should I wear a thong, which might look kind of slutty? (The dress is actually quite classy and won't show the thong itself, but rather the absence of panty lines).
Am I overthinking this? Should I just wear a thong and to h.ell with it?

The dress is not slutty at all--people who give me advice about no boobs hanging out or not too short, thanks but it doesn't answer my question. The dress, by the way, covers my shoulders, doesn't show cleavage, and is knee length.

our sons gf is so wonderful, she has panty lines. Wear the thong no one is even going to give it a thought. Don't worry so much, smile have a good time, and think of it as they should be more worried about impressing you.

Personally, I wouldn't wear a dress, thats overkill!
Just wear a clean, nice(not ripped, dark), dark pair of blue jeans and a Very Nice Sweater or Blouse. Be Simple and Plain (black, blue, brown, white). Also, wear a nice necklace.
If NOT then:
You can wear the thong, but if you have spandex (SHORT, like shorts) then wear that over that. See how that looks.
If that doesn't work, then wear leggings, if it goes with the dress, but actually get a pair of shorts or something and put them over the thong. Well,

You are overthinking this a little bit. Wear a thong, it isn't slutty, it's wanting to look nice. And I doubt that your boyfriend's parents will be looking for your panty lines. They probably want to get to know you. More women wear thongs than regular underwear, its fine.
Deff. wear underwear, you don't want to flash his parents by mistake!

I would wear a thong or no panties at all. Panty lines are not classy at all.

If the dress is classy then wear it. I am not a fan of panty hoes but you can wear pantyhoes and not have to wear panties so that works great. That isnt my favorite either but it'll work. If you know it is going to show lines, and you want to wear the dress, wear pantyhoes that is your best bet.

if the dress is short, try something else. if no one is going to see the thong, no problem. no boobs showing. if the sleeves are really short buy a "shrug" one of those little sweaters, that just covers your arms. NOthing slutty, i am a mother. i would hate it.

Just wear the thong and to heck with it. Unless you plan on telling his parents or showing them that you have a thong. Just go with it.

wear a slip and no panties or panty hose and no panties but to not have vpl and make sure your boobs are not hangint out of the dress, if it is low cut wear a cami under it

Yeah I would. To heck with panty lines no one will notice unless your dress gets fluffed up. Hope I helped.
