Seriously, whether you like him or not I find it stifling to have to see 50-60% of the questions in here about Ron Paul. It has definitely caused me to slow my use of YA dramatically. Have you had the same reaction?
It will be interesting to see the Paul supporters on this.

By the way, I do vote in every election and I try to support my government, whoever is running it at the time. My point is that the constant hammering of Paul's supporters is actually reducing the political conversation rather than increasing it. By swarming onto the Internet it has made it difficult to consider other candidates.
I agree that the zeal of his supporters is admirable but I have researched his positions and I don't need the next 100 questions re: how Ron Paul is the only hope for America.

I am a Ron Paul supporter, but I do agree with you that some things may be an annoyance to others. I think alot of people (Ron Paul supporters) may feel that they are obligated to spread the word like wildfire. No one else (the media) is doing it. However, some people may be crossing the line.
The bottom line is THINK FOR YOURSELF. Dont vote for Ron Paul because everyone on YouTube is telling you to. Dont vote for Obama because you think Oprah is cool, and dont vote for Hillary because you like Bill. Do your research and make up your own mind. Whether that is for Ron Paul or not.
Be an American and choose for yourself. You have that freedom and you have that right!

Actually, I'll be glad that people stop posting anti-ron paul questions on Y!A, you might just be adding to the problem, but not understand the irony of it. If you ignore something, it usually goes away, if it is of no merit.
Many post for the benefit of the thousands of readers that silently view questions and answers on Y!A via Google or Yahoo itself. I don't think a single user could be vain enough to think it's solely for their benefit. There is always Redstate, or Littlegreenfootballs, if you want a censored forum to echochamber your own views into - trust me, it gets quite maddening for anyone with more than 4 braincells to participate there for more than a week.

Agreed. His supporters are scumbags who make an otherwise decent candidate look really bad. I am mulling over throwing a farewell party to Ron Paul's campaign when he loses. It will also cut down on the idiots spouting nonsense about the "NWO."
Edit: "kty_weber," I think you are the only Paul supporter who sounds like a human! Nice post! :D

I generally agree.
Any chance I might have had of supporting Ron Paul has been thoroughly dashed by the way his supporters have behaved on YA. They routinely bash other candidates, choose answers that parrot their existing beliefs, and are single-mindedly focused on Ron Paul to the seeming exclusion of anything else.
Really a turn-off.
Oh, and they descend in hordes to "thumbs-down"
answers who dare not to support Ron Paul. This indicates an alarming incapacity to accept the fact that people are entitled to disagree with them.
See?

I know what you mean. I don't know much about him except that during an interview with Glenn Beck he stated that America needs to pull away from Israel and let them do what they are capable of doing, we just get in the way. I agree with that but know nothing else of him.

Don't complain if the candidate you support betrays you and the rest of us voters. Changes are small and take time. If you're one of those that don't vote, don't complain. I vote and I'm planning to do so for Paul.
