Many good answers but first this person needs to know one if they have an HDTV and two if they do if its an HDTV thats highest resolution is 1080i/720p (great) or 1080p (best). Chances are if the tv was recently purchased it may have 1080p capabilities which is the best. PS3's are capable of dipsplaying 1080p pictures with their games and blu ray movies. HDMI must be used if you have this kind of tv 1080p (if you're not sure feel free to contact for add'l help) If your TV is HD but is not the newer better 1080p tv's. Don't worry the picture will still be brilliant and you can save some money by having the choice of getting component video cables (don't confuse with composite, that's the kind of cable that was included). An HDMI cable will still work but are quite more expensive compared to the component video cables. If you can wait for delivery. I would suggest ordering your HDMI cable through ebay. Ebay is flooded with them so you can get one as cheap as $10 and thats including shipping but if you are impatient like me you'll find them at target for about $30 if you go to a best buy or similar store expect to pay $50 on up for one. Don't be talked into getting a ps3 hdmi cable for you will see no difference in picture quality.
Now if you don't have a HDTV yet don't worry you will still have a sharp picture on your tv. I would suggest still picking up a set of ps2 s video cables for your ps3. It will fit on the ps3 unit and it will deliver a better picture to your standard definition set. NOTE: make sure your tv supports s video. some still don't.

First of all you need an HD TV. If you do you must use either an HDMI cable (recommended) or a composite cable. The HDMI is one cord, the component is about 5 of them. The HDMI is a higher quality (supposedly), but I recommend it just because you have 4 fewer cords to keep track of. The cord included with the PS3 is the composite cable. You will not get HD quality with this cord.

Ok here is the deal. You can't run an HD signal through the composite cables you get with your PS3. However, you can still get an HD picture with Component cables, up to 1080i or s-video cable also. I use Sony gold plated component cables for my PS3 and HDTV, and it looks awesome. But if you want full HD 1080p, you need to use HDMI cable.

There is a difference yes... But the graphics are still amazing even without it being in HD. But to get the full potential out of the graphics you will need an HDMI cable...

The regular cable that comes in the box is for regular TVs. Use HDMI cable if you want to display HD on your HDTV.

Yea it will artwork If the montior although if isn't precisely 1920x1080 (like mine is 1920x1200 sixteen:10 component, no longer sixteen:9 yet remains rated for "1080p"mine is in simple terms 1200p) it may look somewhat distorted, yet maximum reliable video reveal contraptions have a a million:a million scaling as a option, if it does have a cool decision yet for constructive you wont injury something by applying connecting the two, and that they do no longer artwork. it quite is going to artwork, you be attentive to i cant inform you one hundred% that it will till im sitting there, or be attentive to the staggering computer screen off hand. in no way be attentive to till ultimately you attempt, yet returned your no longer risking injury or some thing stupid like that.

La última vez quería un cable que conecta mi ordenador al televisor, el cable que me ha llegado corresponde con su descripción, tiene buena transmisión digital, es bastante resistente y una buena calidad y todo a un precio muy bueno, como siempre una excelente compra.
