There is a series of numbers denoted by a1, a2, a3, ... aX (Not in Arithmetic Progression!). Here's what we have:

a1 = 1
and
a(M + N) = aM + aN + MN

Using the two given data, find the 2001st term.





In case you have trouble understanding:
a1 is the first term, a2 is the second term and so on. aX is the xth term.
a(M + N) denotes the (M + N)th term of the series.

And remember that this is NOT an Arithmetic Progression!

I want to do some science experiments, but I can't do it without some types of metal.

I want to know what the general cost of scrap copper, aluminum, and steel are per ounce. It would also help if you give me some safety tips when I handle the metal. Do I need a special type of soap to wash my hands after touching it? Should I wear rubber gloves and a mask?

A psychiatrist visited a California mental institution and asked a patient, "How did you get here? What was the nature of your illness?" He got the following reply.

"Well, it all started when I got married and I guess I should never have done it. I married a widow with a grown daughter who then became my stepdaughter.

My dad came to visit us, fell in love with my lovely stepdaughter, then married her. And so my stepdaughter was now my stepmother. Soon, my wife had a son who was, of course, my daddy's brother-in-law since he is the half-brother of my stepdaughter, who is now, of course, my daddy's wife.

So, as I told you, when my stepdaughter married my daddy, she was at once my stepmother! Now, since my new son is brother to my stepmother, he also became my uncle. As you know, my wife is my step-grandmother since she is my stepmother's mother. Don't forget that my stepmother is my stepdaughter. Remember, too, that I am my wife's grandson.

But hold on just a few minutes more. You see, since I'm married to my step-grandmother, I am not only the wife's grandson and her hubby, but I am also my own grandfather. Now can you understand how I got put in this place?"

can someone show me how to do a turn on a snowboard.... the way i do it is... i kept my bottom feet the same and only use my front feet to either lift my heel or lift my toe for the turn... is what i will do right or wrong... and do i need to lift my bottom toe or heel at all?

Alright, first off, is it possible to have all three of those conditions at once?

Second, and my main question is what medications would you need to take for these conditions? I'm looking for names and what they do (Not necessarily things like Pill "A" inhibits the endorphins, Pill "B" excites the neurons, etc. More like Pill "A" controls the voices, Pill "B" is a sedative, etc. Simpler things. You can explain them in a bit of detail, but I'm not a medically-minded person, so I may not understand some of it. )

I am 27 and I have been dating my g/f who is 29 for about 2 years. In early November, I told her I wanted to end the relationship because I didn't feel it was going anywhere and I though I was falling out of love with her. She took it REAL hard and so after a lot of begging, pleading, crying, promising, etc, I agreed to give it another chance. Well, things havn't really changed much. It's nothing with her personally, she's a nice girl, I just don't feel the love that I once did and I don't want to keep going in a relationship that I don't think has a future. Anyway, today she dropped a bombshell on me. She told me she's 12 weeks preg accedently and she's keeping it. I was planning on breaking up again but after New Years (I was gonna spare her the heartbreak over the holidays) but now I don't know what to do! She's been on the pill the whole time we've been dating so I never thought to wear a condom. Should I stay with her now or not? I can't see myself ever loving her.

I'm a junior football player. I play offensive line, so I'm kinda big, but I lift in the offseason, so it's not all fat. My leg strength is considered above average and I'm probably Top 10 in the school when it comes to leg strength. But my bench is considered average. So I have a killer lower body (so I'm told) but an average upper body (what girls notice more).

She's a sophomore cheerleader, and a good friend of my good friend's girlfriend. I've never seen her at school before, but my good friend was talking about her being single (the team tries to get me a gf now and then). I saw her pic on Facebook (apparently we're friends) and I was blown away.

But as I said, I've never seen her before at school. I don't know any of her classes or where her locker is or anything like that.

So how should I try to get to know her? In person? On Facebook? How? What do I say?

I only have one chance for a good first impression, so I NEED to make it memorable.
