Unlike Mardi Gras because Mardi Gras is always start 40 days before Lord's night meal.

No one knows when Jesus was born exactly. The Roman emperor Constantine selected Dec. 25 as the day in the fourth century A.D. trying to resolve a conflict of interest between christianity and another group who believed in another Deity.

my savior was NOT born on Christmas day, Constantine selected this day to appease the pagans. It's a lie.

Who is the father of lies?

John 8:44
"You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Since this celebration is based on a lie, the Devil invented it. It cannot be a good thing.

What does the Heavenly Father think of lies?

Proverbs 6:16-19
These six things Yahweh hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.

Jesus was probably born some time around April.
In the 5th century A.D. the Catholic church decided to celebrate the Christ Mass in December around the time that the Pagans were celebrating the Yule. This is believed to be to compete with the Pagans. It was inconvenient to have the Christ birth so near to Easter. Most of the traditions of Christmas are actually Pagan, the tree, the fire, etc.

The Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the flesh.

The twenty-fifth day of December.
In the five thousand one hundred and ninety-ninth year of the creation of the world
from the time when God in the beginning created the heavens and the earth;
the two thousand nine hundred and fifty-seventh year after the flood;
the two thousand and fifteenth year from the birth of Abraham;
the one thousand five hundred and tenth year from Moses
and the going forth of the people of Israel from Egypt;
the one thousand and thirty-second year from David's being anointed king;
in the sixty-fifth week according to the prophecy of Daniel;
in the one hundred and ninety-fourth Olympiad;
the seven hundred and fifty-second year from the foundation of the city of Rome;
the forty second year of the reign of Octavian Augustus;
the whole world being at peace,
in the sixth age of the world,
Jesus Christ the eternal God and Son of the eternal Father,
desiring to sanctify the world by his most merciful coming,
being conceived by the Holy Spirit,
and nine months having passed since his conception,
was born in Bethlehem of Judea of the Virgin Mary,
being made flesh.

Gee, if they arbitrarily decided on this day, even when their Bible story clearly indicated otherwise, what else might they have decided arbitrarily? No religion of mine.

This also shows the mentality of the religious authorities at the time: either they weren't smart enough to realize the story contradicted this date, or they didn't think anyone else would notice because only the priests could read.

No-one knows what date Jesus was born, but this is the day we celebrate His birth.

No. Even Christian theologians admit that he couldn't have been, because of the specific references to shepherds spending the nights in the fields with their flocks. That doesn't happen in late December, because the lambs (not to mention the shepherds) would freeze to death. They go sleep in the fields, even today, in spring.
