I refuse to clean my childrens room for them!!! I have two girls ages 4 and 8. They share a bedroom and they have a playroom attatched. I have been telling them for 2 months to clean both rooms. They sit up there and play and fight. When I ask them if they are almost done they reply with "almost" or "not yet" I give them time limits or there will be punishment. Like have it done in 3 hours or you're going to bed an hour early. MY KIDS HAVE NOT WATCHED T.V., PLAYED OUTSIDE, STAYED UP LATE ON WEEKENDs in weeks.
They dont care!!!
Now it is Christmas Eve and Ive been telling them all weekend " If you do not have your rooms cleaned by Christmas, You will not open your presents. They will sit there under the tree untill the rooms are clean."
Its 9:30 pm and they keep comming down stairs to tattle on each other and Still i hear them up there playing.....
What is wrong with my kids? Then my 8 year old has the nerve to tell me she dosnt want any presents.

I'm getting married in June so we are going to take a mini-honeymoon to north of us. Then in the winter we are going to go some where warm! (we live in wisconsin)

I just started a job this past July and earn ONE vacation day a month. I have 3 so far, by June I should have about 9. Not enough.

In July, my fiance's family takes a trip to canada for 10 days, which I would LOVE to go of course because we'll be newly weds.

Can I ask at work if theres unpaid time I can have?

Does anyone have any knowledge about how that works? I LOVE my job and plan on staying there forever and they are so easy going with changing times I work, but I'm full-time so as long as each week I get 37.5-40 hours they don't care.

I was THINKING maybe I would go part time and then my vacation days would be covered but I'm not sure thats an wise option

How much time is your job giving you unpaid?

I guess also any tips how to go about (asking HR or my manager) this would be great!

I had open heart surgery 4 years ago and I'm now 48 years old ex football player and in great shape ,I had quad- bypass and today I:m in great shape I have the strength that I had when I was 30 everybody keeps saying take it easy "what does that mean ", I'm 6' 4 and 245, solid muscle I don;t smoke or drink and I do not do any drugs SO how long is this surgery good for. and no I have no heart damage, I'm looking for experienced answer not knowledgeable ones

My wall is painted pink, but now on the top their is a white substince. The roof has leeked over the pased 10 years, so maybe could it be mold?
I dont know if it could also be dry wal showing up?

I have a situation in which I became close friends with a girl I worked with. We still are very good friends. I didn't have romantic interest in her at first, but then those feelings started to grow and now I want to be with her. We talk to each other a lot, but I think she only thinks of me as a friend. I couldn't make my intentions clear at first because I simply did not feel that way about her until almost a year ago. I still have not told her how I felt, and I don't know if I should. I think she will reject me and it will be so humiliating and I'll end up losing a friend as well. I think this always happens to guys who have female friends and then they feel something more. The guy simply cannot move the friendship into a relationship because the girl won't let it happen. Isn't this true for the most part?
