i was a Top contributor on polls and surveys category,but i was inactive for about 8 months and Yahoo took it back from me:( how can i take it back?
Also Yahoo doesnt let me to vote in Polls and Surveys and i have problems in voting in other categories too

It's cool when you are 6 but anything after that just turns into a big fiasco. It's now the corporations and major chain stores that tell you what christmas is about.

People love being in the cheery holiday season for about 3 weeks. Then they go back to their crappy jobs hating everyone and being miserable.

A day on a calendar shouldn't change how you act. If you aren't happy like that all the time than you're faking it.

I hate christmas. But I LOVE the day after xmas when people can finally shut the hell up.

I want to wish all of those of all religions and origin a Merry Christmas. I am a Muslim, but here in the US the celebration of it is more a tradition than anything to do with religion. So, I am exchanging gifts with my Christian family and I am going to spend the day with them. This time of year for very few is really about worship. At least in my city, anyway.

And another question: How will you be spending this day off of work for those of you who do work?

Due to the birth of a baby (my nephew :) we didn't get our Christmas tree until today. And we actually went into the woods and cut one down and all of that, so today has been a little busy. Anyone else wait as long as we did to get their tree?

im a native american, so my question is, howcome jesus is always depicted as pale blonde haired guy, i mean afterall he was born in the middle-east right, and aren't they all like the same skin color as me, why with that reasoning, maybe he was black, or maybe it looked kinda red, right? But since this is a white dominated world, it's only fitting that he be depicted solely on that race right? (or maybe just maybe he was a mix of all races, that are each apart of him, just that each unique feature is taken from him on placed among differenent races, chinese, native/mexican, white, black. LOL can you imagine how that would like like?)

Me and my boyfriend have been having problems and we had a breakup this holiday season like 3 days before christmas. I am really close with his family, infact closer with them that my own so i spent some time with them this christmas eve when he wasnt around and now i feel like i have lost them, lost him, my own parents told me to stay at a freakin womens shelter tonight (my parents suck) and I feel so alone. we shared a car which he took, i have no money and no job because it is seasonal. this is the most upsetting thing ever. i am all alone in our apartment that we shared by myself on christmas eve, alone and sad and wondering what the heck happened and most importanly what is my next move because right now I don't seem to have any options. Is there anyone out there in this big world that has any advice???

Where are these "studies"? Where are these "results"? These same people who are making these claims are now spoutting off that aspartame caused the gulf war syndrome... that it was created by the government to hold you down... WTF??? A friend of mine is going through some issues. She has been with her man for 3 years, and they have a 1.5 y/o son. They are not married but live together. He doesn't show her affection and attention. He was the complete opposite in the 1st year. He gets along great with his son but shows no emotion towards her woman. I know he loves her, but he has this street mentality which makes him act cold hearted. She tells me that they hardly do things together, and they don't really communicate much. If she didn't initiate the conversations, he would hardly speak. I know some guys have affection issues but this is ridiculous. She recently broke down crying and told me and her other friend about what is truly going on. She has heart to heart talks with him and he changes for a month or so.. then he goes back to his old ways. She says that if it wasn't for her son, she would leave him. She would rather remain unhappy and stay with him to avod hurting her child. I feel bad for her. Any advice?

I keep hearing about these thousands and thousands of Canadian’s that flock to US hospitals to get medical care. As foreigners they have no health insurance here and it costs many thousands of dollars a day to stay in an American hospital, here do they get all that money? Do they get a group rate at the border, or is this just more crap put out by the RNC? Finally as they have ne applicable insurance what financial security do they have to post before the hospital will admit them? Do they promise to leave a healthy kidney?
