We encounter many problems daily but we will have to withstand these problems and try and resolve them as the saying goes a smooth sea never made a skilled mariner.
If each and every one of us is as cool as the days, there will be great peace on this earth.

Define "cool." For the average young person (15-29) in any given time period, just about anything in popular culture can be cool, with varying degrees of taste. I would assume every era throughout history had its own interesting characteristics, but with continuing advancements in technology and social progress, the current era is always the "coolest."
Yes, it is important to live "in the now" as to not get left behind. However, it is always to also look ahead to the what the future may hold in store for us. There is always room for improvement.

When you're a youngster and don't know of past strifes, its pretty cool, But I've been around quite a few # of years and to me we are in the worsed of it yet. The world is like Towanda said, Going downhill fast.
