i ask this question because i recently read an article published from data from the hyperemesis education and research foundation, which stated that quite a few women chose to end their pregnancies due to severe nausea and vomiting. i wonder, if a pre-matched pregnant woman developed hyperememis gravidarium, pre-ecclampsia or another debilitating condition, would the paps support her decision to terminate the pregnancy?

this is not a "pro-life/pro-choice" debate. this is concerning "therapeutic abortion" (or the "health of the mother" argument), which falls beyond the realm of elective termination.

It has been said that all atheists are loving, accepting, respectful of all other beliefs, and are open-minded.
Why, then, do some of them ask such disrespectful questions? Why all the ridicule? Why the disdain for our beliefs?

Somehow it doesn't jive to hear such claims and to then see such questions as "Why are Christians so stupid?" , "Why do Christians believe in a "sky daddy?", "Why didn't God copulate with a cow?", "Is logic the 'piss' on Christians' picnic?", and "Should all Christians be sent to a mental asylum?"
Help me to see the respect in these questions.

There are some really terrific people here who are atheists. However, there are others who are really unkind and disrespecful. They damn us no matter what we do or say.

Has anyone else found this to be true?

He's made up. You don't really think that a man can fit every present for every person on Earth in one sleigh do you?
Also, it is not possible to visit every household in the world in one night, even taking into account the time differences between different areas in the world and even if you flew by Concorde, never mind by a sleigh pulled by reindeer.
...and you don't seriously believe that a man as fat as Santa Claus can fit down a chimney, do you? Even a tiny new-born baby would struggle to achieve this feat. Take a look at the chimney on top of your house and take a look for yourself...
...and how has Santa managed to survive all these years without aging or altering in appearance in any way. Surely he ought to be dead by now...

Okay please help.
We were going out for 5 months on and off and i really loved him. He lived 40 minutes away and i only got to see him at the track when he raced BMX. i saw him about twice a week and it was okay. Then the winter came and his racing season was over. we only got to see eachother about once a month but we loved eachother A LOT! Now we are separated and its been about 2 weeks. He said that he cant move on but its the best for us. I agree but still.. we still talk but its really awkward. Usually after a few days we get back together cuz its hard not being together...

I'm a canadian who is going to get transfered for his job abroad. I have three choices, India, Lebanon, or Morocco. I don't really want to go to India but I am considering Lebanon or Morocco.

I was wondering about the chances of a western man getting the chance to date a lebanese girl. Obviously this is isn't my only criteria, but considering I am a 28 yr old single guy and the fact that the job will likely last around 4-5 yrs I do consider it.

So does a canadian man have any chance of dating a lebanese girl? I've heard that the christian girls are the most liberal and the shias the most conservative and the sunnis are somewhere in the middle. But then again I'm not sure about this.

Ok...so I got up this morning and went pee. Everything was normal. I walked back to bed to lay down and felt a little moisture so I felt my underwear. There was like a little liquid..not as much as the size of a tennis ball. It didn't smell gross..just like straw or sweet. I havnt had anymore since then and that was about an hour ago... and no contractions. Is it just leaking a lil??

I have had someone tell me that gentiles weren't allowed to convert to Judaism and be accepted as a Jew until modern times. Is this true?

Also where in the Torah does it say gentiles can be considered a Jew through conversion?

I just saw the Bourne Ultimatum a a few hours ago and wow i have to say it is just as good as the first 2. l dreamed l got into an elevator with my boss. l was holding an envelope. l pushed the button for the evevator to go down there was no first floor button their were all different number for each floor in no particular order like 4th 8th, 15th, but none of them seemed to be down to the first floor where we wanted to go.l pushed a few buttons nothing happened. l kept pushing buttons suddenly the door shut.but still we did not move.for a time we were just still then l took a pair of scissors and cut a small cut into the envelope still nothing then l could see 4 wires across the lenght inside the envelope l cut through the whole envelope in half cutting all 4 wires.suddenly the evelator began moving down starting slowly then picking up speed. lt started falling so fast my boss fell to the floor his face was in a panic. l was climbing up the walls inside the elevator trying to find away to the top of the compartment so l was above my boss l heard a scream as l woke up.
