Ok...so I got up this morning and went pee. Everything was normal. I walked back to bed to lay down and felt a little moisture so I felt my underwear. There was like a little liquid..not as much as the size of a tennis ball. It didn't smell gross..just like straw or sweet. I havnt had anymore since then and that was about an hour ago... and no contractions. Is it just leaking a lil??

if it didnt smell like urine it could be your water broke. if it was just a little you may be leaking. it could just be a vaginal discarge. You might want to call your doctor and ask his opinion, or swing buy the hospital for peace of mind, cause if you are leaking or it did break you need to be under a doctors care so you dont get an infection.

I wouldthink your water broke, it is possible to have a small leak, and if baby moves they could be blocking more from leaking. O=try changing positions, and if baby moves and more fluids comes out then you know. If not you might want ot go and be checked, if your water breaks and labor does not begin within 24 hours, you risk infection of the uterus. Also, when I was 27 weeks I had a similar experience, I had a small gush of fluid and then nothing else. I went in to be checked it was not amniotc fluid or pee, my Dr thought perhaps it was my mucous plug build-up. I had lost my plug numerous times during that pregnancy and it is always rebuilding itself, well perhaps while I peed it came out and then the gush afterwards was what was behind it.

Getting checked really only takes a few minutes, worst case scenario...it's not amniotic fluid...and you go back home.Good luck!!

It could just be leaking a little. But to be safe I would still go to the Hospital as its alwats better to be safe than sorry and ask there opinion as it could be the start before it breaks. Hope this was helpful!

It doesn't sound like it - my water broke and everything was soaked for quite some time, but I remember it did slow down at times.

I'd call your doc if I were you - just to be on the safe side because everyone's labor and delivery are different.

If you haven't had any leaking since, then I would have to say that you haven't broken your water. It would be consistant if you had broken your water and 9 times out of 10 it's a big gush of fluid.

Well i would say this was just discharge, which is common in pregnancy. If your not experiancing anything else at this point i wouldn't be worried. If you are still worried i might suggest calling your doctor just to make sure. Good luck!!! and Merry Christmas!!!

that sounds like a break, yes. you should call your doctor and go get checked. if the water has broken, your baby needs to be born within a certain amount of time or complications can set in.

i had my water break and no contractions came. my body just didn't seem to do what it needed to do. i had to go to the hospital and be induced. it took 28 hours for my daughter to be born, and with that much time passing after the water broke, she had problems at birth.

best of luck to you.

Think you are just leaking a lil, just keep a check, when waters break its usually like a jelly type substance with liquid followup, you could check with the hospital just to make sure.

No, doesn't sound like broken water to me. You will know it when your water breaks, it will run down your legs and there will be no controlling it. It is like someone burst a water balloon inside of you. After the initial rush of water, it is not over, you will continue to leak. Trust me, you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that your water just broke.
