tsk a tsk do you not realise that there are some pompous arrogant up themselves people answering this question who object to atrocious grammar well Tony Blair can seek redemption where he likes but he obviously failed in his own church as miserably as he did in Parliament and he can seek faith where he likes but God pays his debts without gold no matter what religion you are and religious or not he will hopefully get his just deserts

He who is without sin cast the first stone.
I'm Agnostic and British and we don't really care that much which religion someone wants to be , it's a free country.
I'm just glad Tony Blair is not Prime Minister anymore, he started out OK, but ended up making a real mess of things, but then again most do.

I don't know which is worse -- your atrocious grammar and spelling or your obvious bigotry against Catholics.
The man's name is spelled "Tony Blair," and the only barrel that he's "scrapping" is the thankless job that he's done for so long. Now it's time for him to be able to join his Catholic family in full communion with the Church of his choice.

"It seems like they will take anyone."
ddduhhhh... yes they will, that is the whole idea... you did not know this ?
BTW, England is the only civilized country where prejudice against Catholics is THE LAW... by law, a member of the Royal Family can NOT marry a Catholic, and Catholics are prevented from performing certain jobs.
Did it occur to you he was making a statement, since his wife is a Catholic?
now, let the *dump on dumb backwards Catholics feast* begin...

God forgives right? All Blair has to do is ask for forgiveness right? Seems to me you're not being a very good Christian there Chris. Perhaps you should ask your god for some forgiveness yourself. Another perfect example of a Christian Contradiction.

I guess forgiving people is unacceptable in this modern day and age.
Anyways, It is only Tony Blaire's business when it comes to what faith he chooses.

Mr. Ratzinger told a lie about Islam while being pope and later said another lie by saying that he is being misunderstood and quoted out of context. So, what exactly is worng for tony to become a catholic.
