A woman and man get into a car accident. Both of their cars are totally demolished, but amazingly neither of them is hurt.
After they crawl out of the wreckage, the woman says, "Wow, look at our cars there's nothing left! Thank God we are all right. This must be a sign from Him that we should be friends and not try to pin the blame on each other." The man replies, "Oh yes, I agree with you completely."
The woman points to a bottle on the ground and says, "And here's another miracle. Somehow this bottle of Scotch from my back seat didn't break. Surely God wants us to drink this Scotch and celebrate our good fortune." Then she hands the bottle to the man. The man nods his head in agreement, opens it, and chugs about a third of the bottle to calm his nerves. He then hands it back to the woman. The woman takes the bottle, immediately puts the cap back on, and hands it back to the man. The man asks, "Aren't you having any?"
The woman replies, "No. I think I'll just wait for the cops".

I am an independent voter. I am not backing for any candidates at this time. According to CNN, "Truth is, he wasn’t very religious,” said Obama. “He met my mother. My mother was a Christian from Kansas, and they married, and then divorced. I was raised by my mother. So I’ve always been a Christian."

He clearly stated that he was raised by his mother and she was a Christian. If it’s true, why did his mother get married to another Muslim after she divorced Obama's father? He spent his childhood in Indonesia with his mother & step father. I want independent voters (Please no Obama, Hillary, Edwards, or Republican voters) to respond please!

Then today as i slowed to stop at a red light it started rumbling , and then it stalled? now every time i come to a stop, i stall? Does any one no why this could be happening, and is the hissing rumbling and stalling linked?? Thanks so much for any information, its much appreciated.

A dangerous new virus is being distributed electronically. It is called
the Worm Overload Recreation Killer (WORK). You can get WORK from your
boss or colleagues. Do not touch it. The virus will wipe out your
private life.
If you come into contact with WORK, there are two antidotes. You can purchase Work Isolating Neutralizer Extract (WINE) or BothersomeEmployerElimination Rebooter (BEER). They're available at your local grocery
store.

My father tried to buy a car. He signed a contract saying he would buy and wrote a personal check for $9000 to hold the car. He wrote "hold" on the memo line because he was going to get a loan from the bank the next day. The bank did not give him the loan and he never drove the truck off the lot. He then told the car dealership he was going to cancel the check.

A few months later the dealership tried to cash the check and if course it didn't go through. Even though he said he cancelled the check, they put the car in his name. Again, he's never actually took possession of the truck. Now the dealership is suing him and the county has sent him a letter regarding him passing a bad check. Can he be faced with criminal charges? Can the owner take him to court for civil charges for the amount of the car he "owns" on paper, but has never actually took possession of?

Thinking about Raleigh. Currently live in Miller Place, NY. Went to college at NCSU and may be interested in moving back. However, i now have a family, wife, 4 year old and 1 year old. Not really a money thing more change of pace, scenery, etc. Love to hear feedback on those who made the move.

Hello. Besides the obvious question I'm asking, I was also wondering what an astronaut's wages are? Do they change whether or not you go into space? When I was younger, I didn't really want to be an astronaut--but since this 8th grade science class (we just studied space) I've realized that I'm really excited about this kind of stuff. Anyways--I'll tell you about myself. I'm 14, and in 8th grade. I'm considered 'smart'. Last year I got all A's (besides the 'B' I got in a non-core class). This year so far, I've recieved A's and B's. Last year I recieved an award that's given to only one person per grade a year for academic achievement, character, behaviour--etc. I don't consider myself fat really, but I know that doesn't have anything to do with my athletic condition. I suppose I'm normal. I'm not out of shape, but I'm not Wonder Woman if you know what I mean. Oh! My last question is: Are there are good colleges that astronauts usually come from? Thanks for your help! I appreciate it.
