I've had a bad reaction to WORK in the past. I once had to call in sick for a whole week because WORK made me feel so bad.....

Yes, WINE and BEER are good antidotes but I think the best cure is PLAY ( Put Love Attention Yearningly ) based on the saying - "All WORK and no PLAY makes John a dull man."
PLAY will not only activate all parts of you and your life but it will also add more life to your private life, if taken even just weekly. It's more economical, too, as you don't need to buy it! Ha! Ha! Ha!
