my last excel question brought up this new question.
ive written some basic Visual Basic scripts in Excel 2000. i saved them in personal.xls, and made icons for them.

they arent very complicated. stuff like change selected cells to (upper/lower/sentance/title) case. and save a file in a certain directory and use specific cells in the workbook as the filename. stuff like that.

also will i be able to make my own icons in excel 2007? i havent actually used the program yet, but i may be forced to upgrade at work in '08.

I am thinking about splitting the hard drive into 2, 60 gigs each.

I heard if you have programs or games it would slow them down, is this true?

i downloaded google earth...it said my graphics card was out of date....tried to update it but not sure what i was doing not exactly sure what i was doing.... opened google earth and get this error message.... whats it mean? how to fix?

Hi i have two equations and want to work out how to get from one to the other, but im abit stuck.

ANy help appreciated

zevB = mv2/r
(the two is a squared sign)

z, e, v, B, m, v, r are all variables (im doing mass spec equations)

i need to turn that equation into

m/z = r2B2e/2V

(here the r and B are squared, but the V is two V)

me and this girl have started 'hanging out' and stuff... we have both admitted we like eachother....but have not taken it further...yet...

i was just wondering as its prob not possible for us to meet up again before christmas for me to give her a physical christmas present...do you think its a good idea to kinda do her a ''online mixed tape''...e-mail her the links/websites to songs that remind me of her, and the lyrics to them??

So, I had to run to the store tonight for milk, and I saw something that disturbed me. Next to the milk section, they had the Hershey's chocolate syrup display, but they had this new (or I think it's new) product called Magic Milk Mix. They make milk flavorings that "taste" like cotton candy, bubblegum and a few others. I was slightly appalled by the fact that they think there is a need for milk tasting like candy.

Curious, I compared the labels, and Nesquik, Hershey's and the store brand had a lot less sugar. Magic Milk is pure sugar with a lot of other uneccesary chemicals.

I'm just wondering if anyone has every used this brand, and if so, what were your reasons for using pure sugar to make your children drink milk?

Well last year this girl took my sarcasim as telling her that she was fat wich is SOO NOT TRUe....and she got mad at me and i said srry one million times she threw insults at me left and right then i got so fed up and this girl is from Bosnia and i said Why dont you go back to bosnia. and i didnt mean it in a racist way but thats the way everyone took it.. she hates me till this day and this was 1 and a half years ago!!!!!I have apologized repeadtly but she wont accept it.......Advice???I DONT WANT ENEMYS i want to be this girls friend..

I have noticable back fat and my thighs are more jiggly than muscly along with my butt blending in with my lower back fat. What exercises are best to getting rid of this? Also I have upper arm fat in the back near my arm pit and in the front near my armpit aswell. I'm 97 pounds and I'm 4'11, but I know that fat weighs less than muscle and that fact bothers me because I feel I have too much. What's the best way to get rid of these exercise wise along with a less fatty diet? Note - I'm not obese at all. Not even over weight, but it's all noticable.

Okay, I'm 18 for starters.

I'm okay with getting pierced, I have 4 lobe piercings in each ear lobe, 3 cartilage piercings in my left ear, an industrial (bar) in my right ear, left nostril, labret (lip), and bellybutton...(Had a septum. :D But took it out.)

A lot, right? So why should I be asking about tongue piercings?

Well, it makes me nervous to have someone put a needle in my mouth...

I know I can keep it clean and whatnot, I'm just being a weenie.

Anyone have any suggestions for how I can cope or handle the fear of the needle?

Hey all,

I am a college freshman and an aspiring journalist (I write for the UCLA Daily Bruin). In the interest of reading more news and becoming a better writer myself, I asked my parents for a subscription to a national newspaper as a holiday present. Instead of just blindly getting one for the LA Times or New York Times, I'm trying to see if there is a general consensus on which national newspaper is the best. By best, I mean the one that has the least biased/partisan coverage of national and international events.
