It depends on your doctor. Mine wanted to see me at 8 weeks. I've heard of others seeing people earlier or later.

Most doctors in my area wont see you until you are at least 8 weeks and some make you wait until 10. There is only one around here that I know of that will see you anytime before that, but he specializes in high risk pregnancies. I would say in general you should expect your doctor to want to schedule your first appt around 8 weeks.

Mine wouldn't see me until I was at least 8 weeks. I've heard of some not wanting to see a woman until she was at least 12 weeks.

I will be 12 weeks on christmas eve and don't see the dr for the first time on the day after christmas

for me i went and saw my gp as soon as i got a positive which was 6 weeks then he referred me to the midwives clinic and i saw them around 12 weeks or so, i just saw my gp in between, have you seen anyone yet? go to your local doctor and tell them your pregnant and they will arrange everything
