When you meet someone at the store, or on the street, etc. And they wish you a Merry Christmas just as a jester of good faith not meaning to cause any harm, not knowing you are atheist, does it really offend you?

I was crazy about my ex the whole time we were together(almost 2 years). he broke up with me when he went away to college, but we still hung out when he came home because we are so close. we kissed a while ago, and then i told him it was hard for me to just be friends with him and not talk to him without having "other" feelings. he admitted he still had feelings, but then after he went back to school for a while got mad and told me to "suck it up" and that we just needed to be friends, we would never kiss again, he was over me, and that it made him uncomfortable when i told him i had feelings. but then this past week he was home, and he started tickling and kissing me again. when he left, he said he wanted to hang out and kiss but didn't want things to get "weird". does he still like me, or is he just unsure of what he wants? should i hold out for him in hopes that it may work out, or should i stop talking to him completely? i'm still so attracted to him and i know he is to me, too.

I support Dennis Kucinich 110%. He seems to be a very decent human being and very optimistic about America's future. He has voted against the war always, voted against the Patriot act, voted against NAFTA and advocates for universal health care. So my question is, why since Dennis Kucinich seems to represent the basic core values of the Democratic party, does he get mocked by people in his OWN party?

His emotional state used to be very well under control. I still love him so much, and even me leaving him would send me to the psych ward. I've been with him for 7 years, he's all i got. And most of the time he's a really sweet guy, but lately he's been flying off the handle so easily. He assumes things about me and then gets angry at me for it all the time. And once he's angry nothing can calm him down, i tried talking calmly to him, i tried to just not talk, i tried to avoid him but anything i did would make him angrier. i feel so trapped because i usually only associate with him i have no friends, no family, no car. Plus i really don't want to leave him, he's my husband, i love him so much it would tear my heart to shreds to have to leave him.

Another question:

When Mary (or the group of women) went to the tomb early in the morning, was it light yet or was it still dark? Mark writes that it was "after sunrise" (16:2), when there would have been plenty of light, but John writes that it was "still dark" (20:20). These texts simply do not agree.

I'm not hostile to the Bible or christians in general, just do not understand their position regarding the Bible being inerrant.

How many errors need be shown?

If the authors were inspired by God, wouldn't they have their stories straight? Some of you have argued "no" the this question? If that's the case, the entire Bible should be viewed as accounts from men who may have got their facts screwed up, right?

Are there any mothers who are being forced to circumcise your boy? Whether it be because the husband wants it done or it has to be done for medical reasons? My husband and I did not have our son circumcised at birth. We did not feel the procedure was necessary. My son is now 4 years old and we recently discovered that he has a condition that may inhibit the way his penis functions. The pediatricians suggested a circumcision will likely alleviate the condition. I really don't want my boy to be circumcised, yet I am worried for him in the future if it is not done. I am in a tough situation. What should I do? Any similar experiences?

If you look at the indiginous people of the middle east, Jesus did not have blue eyes, and light brown hair, as he is depicted in artwork. He would have fairly dark skin, and north african features. I wonder if euros would have chosen to worship Him if he would have been protrayed as he really looked. I KNOW no one knows exactly how He looked, but paleontologists can come pretty close, at least in general terms, and it aint how He is depicted.

Ever since the beginning of 9th grade, I was always made fun of by this boy named Nic, the class clown. It got so bad that I would even skip school.

He would make fun of this guy that was my friend, and he'd send him threatening messages on myspace. Atleast I'm sure it was him. Though sometimes without anyone around he'd give me a highfive or would be really nice to me, which was fishy.

It's been a year now, and it still continues. This time, it's around big groups of people. And I always continue to ignore him. But that's not working. What's his problem and what can I do?

I have heard many people say they don't count but my school people(princpal,teachers,counslers etc.) say they do. They said if CAL is deciding between you another applicant and the grades that really counted(soph. jr.) were the same then they will take a look at your freshman grades. Is this true?

It's called "Facade" and it's about a young woman who finds her calling in art and moves to New York. She has one crazy professor who insists that art is not the creation of beauty but the creation of an honest world.
