I do, never more than a dollar, but I've only seen 1 this year. But, I know what the rules are for the ringers, so if they are hiding inside I tend not to do it. I know it's not for them, but the point is to make a sacrifice, and I'd rather give to toys for tots, or coats for kids.

I'll give to Toys for Tots, Coat Drives, Wish Trees, or Food Banks.

I won't give money. I don't trust these organizations enough to get the majority of it to the needy. I believe most or at least too much is ate up in salaries.

Plus I won't sponsor brainwashing people to christianity.

depends on what it is going to be used for i put money in the kettle for almost everyone except for blue cross or red cross because they would not even offer my father in law a cup of coffee when he needed it. if they are willing to help us i would be willing to help them.

Yes...I give change whenever I have it... one year when we were younger and living wild in Austin we ate at the Salvation Army for Christmas...it was nice to have a hot meal...they even had a gospel group perform for us needy peeps...it was cool.

Not any more, I am soooooo tired of be solicited in front of EVERY Store I go into. You can't give to everyone.
