I always have Christmas eve at my house with the in laws. Like always my mother in law doesn't care about the kids.She doesn't call for birthdays or show up for the parties. She never brings anything for the two little ones either. OK no big deal well this year we had a death of a newborn(her great grand daughter)she never even called,sent a card or flowers to her grand daughter. She also never showed at the funeral.My husband always defends her thats the way she is. How do you think I should handle this when she shows up like the loving grandmother she is NOT.?I am so mad that she acts likes this. Maybe I should just play it up like we really don't care,but it hurts us and expecially the kids.

BTW, I am an international student . My IELTS results wont be send until next week - 1 week before the deadline - by snail mail. Is it okay for the IELTS results to reach the admin office 2-3 weeks after the deadline ?

Okay so I got a Sharp Aquos TV that was hooked up while I was at work. I came home and everything, i.e. my Comcast DVR and Samsung DVD player, were hooked up. However, I am going through input select and set up and all that fun stuff and I cannot get anything to come in on the TV. Granted, I don't know what HDMI means so that might be important, but basically, does anyone know how to set up a Sharp Aquos TV to work with Digital Cable, and if so...HELP!

okay I say Merry Christmas personally because we are celebrating Christ and his birth. Some people do not like saying Merry Christmas, they prefer Happy Holidays. I want to know what you say? please explain why you say this too. explain why you say this greeting. Use plenty of details if you want. I know that I would. I'm really clueless about what UC's require, but I still really want to get into one.

Um...so I'm really in a slump about my grades and I don't have all A's this year as a sophomore (A-, B-, B-, B+, A, A) which disappoints me. The B's that I do have though are in AP classes (AP world history, AP biology) and I hear that in UC they add extra points for AP. I'm also not doing any extra stuff right now like clubs, sports, community service.

I hear its tough to get in...So can I still get in? Do I have a chance? Any recommendations, advice? I plan to join some community service clubs during my junior year...

What do they do to lessen the pain of getting the shot? Someone answered me b4 with local anesthetic. What is that? Do they give you something so it doesn't hurt when the needle goes in? And when you do get it are you numb from the waist down? Would it be a bad idea to go to work right after getting it? Thanks

I have had both lengths throughout my life, and I personally find long hair to be much less maintenance than short hair. Short hair (and medium shoulder length) is nothing but frustration, at least for me. Am I the only one who thinks that or is there someone else out there who agrees?
