Okay there is this girl who's real cute and sweet, and was really nice to me, she gave all the signs that she liked me. But when I asked her out she told me she needed to think about it, and she did. She told my FRIEND she won't go out with because I was mean to her, now, I WAS mean to her, but only cause I liked her. Plus, it was in 6th grade when we are now in 8th. Do you think she would say no because of something that happened two years ago? That gives it away that there's a falsity somewhere. She's like super sweet to ME, but because I was so mean to HER, she's holding a grudge or something?
And its probably the same reason she did not call me yet. My real question is why would she tell my FRIEND soemthing about me and not ME instead, I wanted a fast and honest no, rather than thi drawn-out maybe I'm receiveing. Man, girls YOU ARE COMPLICATED!

And even psychics and fortune tellers seem more prevalent in the states, why is this? It might be because I’m just exposed to more American media than the media of other countries and I have mainly my own country to compare and we have scammers here but, they don’t seem to be as successful here as in the states.

Countrywide Mortgage was one of the biggest lenders of subprime mortgages and did not want to assist the people holding those mortgages.

This is horrible and as consumers, we should hold them accountable; don't do banking with them in any manner.

BTW, the other major lender was more than willing to help people and chided Countrywide for not joining in with them to iron this out.

Just goes to show that greed is alive and well in the lending business. Experts say that they (collectively) will lose somewhere in the neighborhood of a trillion dollars. Isn't justice sweet? : )

anyone remember or have albums by any 70s rockers that put out an album but never seemed to get off the ground?
Thinking of two I remember: one was White Witch, who were on the Capricorn label. Still have the self-titled album (but they may have put out one more).
Then there was Boones Farm --- they were on Columbia records. Saw 'em on a triple bill with BOC and Quicksilver. I'm sure they never put out another.
Any others you all recall?
