my nece is 11 is that to young to date but by wht they think is goinng out is just asking some one out and not going out

No, no, no, that's absolutely fine. Haha. When I was that age, "dating" is at the MOST sitting together at lunch. I doubt they're be any physical contact. Haha... It's fine, most definitely.

That is what it means! If you ask some one out you don`t go on a date you are just there boyfriend or girlfriend! And I started going out at Kindergarden! You are never too young i you are responsible,,, If you have a kid before you are 21 or married you are not responsible!

I think it's too young. Even if they are just "going out" without going anywhere, it's still too young for her to be concerned with what it takes to keep a boy interested in her. She needs to concentrate on her Barbies and her mother needs to enroll her in some dance classes or something to take up her extra time. No boys till she's 16 and that's final :)

My daughter is 13. She has a boyfriend. They go out to the movies or to the Dairy Queen in groups. Other than that they see each other at school and talk on the phone.

I'd wait until 15 to date but if she's going out with a group that's fine.If it's just a friend who's a boy that's fine too.

Okay it really depends on what "dating" is to them. For me its not too young as long as they can handle it and arent going out getting hickies or something. If its the kinda shy, hug in the halls kinda thing then its totally fine. But who knows Im 13 and my friends have had hickies, made out, and one even got fingered! (EWW I KNOW TOO YOUNG!!) but you just need to know what they mean by "Go out". GOOD LUCK! ;)

at age 11, "going out" with someone is him and all of his friends making a huge deal about asking her and her friends wanting her to say yes, and her getting embarassed, and then finally saying yess, and then they will tell absolutely everyone that they are going out but they will never actually go anywheere so no it is not, best of luck!!

nooo it's not young that means she actually is going out to the movies, resteraunts i mean it's not that young it's not like a serious relationship it's just short term stuff

yes 11 years old is too young to date!! It's ok to have male friends at that age but not in a sexual way!

i think it is too young to date. because what do you do when your 11? hold hands? haha. i dont think that they have mentally prepared for dating. but its a new age and people are always doing things different.
