because it is harder to read for one and it looks really weird. and if your trying to shorten things why would you type "dew" which is a water type stuff on grass in the morning then the correct spelling "do".
it doesnt really make since to use incorrect words if they are longer. why would you type gitts when gets is shorter.
and the "right" you were referring to is "write".

eh. i can only read english. If kilff burton wasn't in the band, then someone else would take his place, and still be a heavy metal band. Megadeth does suck. People head bang because THEY WANT TO. it is annoying when people don't take the time to spell correctly, its just about presenting yourself a certain way....some people get annoyed when others have bad body odor or their shoes are always untied...but its really not a big deal....personally it can bother me when its someone spouting off something online (whether i agree with them or not....the grammar and spelling issue just makes them sound ignorant and sloppy)

We 'do' it because there is a perfectly good spell check that makes it so that you do not appear 'hella' retarded when you make nonsensical words up.....we also make issue with punctuation...........'hella retarded, unbelievable.'
