Well announcers, coaches and sports writers say that it would be LSU's Tigers Stadium. But I am sure certain stadiums would be tougher to play in for particular rivalries.

Additional Details:
Despite being 14-1 at Tiger Stadium, famed Alabama head coach Bear Bryant once remarked that "Baton Rouge happens to be the worst place in the world for a visiting team. It's like being inside a drum."[2] In 2001, ESPN sideline reporter Adrian Karsten said, "Death Valley in Baton Rouge is the loudest stadium I've ever been in."[3] In 2002, Miami (Ohio) coach Terry Hoeppner said of Tiger Stadium, "That's as exciting an environment as you can have ... we had communication problems we haven't had at Michigan and Ohio State."[4] In 2003, ESPN's Chris Fowler called LSU his favorite game day experience.[5]

Survey after survey has concluded that Tiger Stadium is the most difficult place for a visiting team to play, including surveys by the College Football Association in 1987, The Sporting News in 1989, Gannett News Service in 1995, and Sport Magazine in 1998.[6] More recently, in 2007, ESPN named Tiger Stadium "the scariest place to play," saying that "Tiger Stadium is, by far, the loudest stadium in the country."[7]

Its between LSU's Death Valley and Ohio Stadium. Those are the two hardest to play in.

Michigans may hold the most, but when you look at its shape, its very open so it doesnt seem as loud. Dont get me wrong, its not an easy place to play, Im saying its not as hard as you would think because of the design. It doesnt hold the sound.

Yes though, Neyland Stadium is one of the toughest, and so is the Swamp. So is Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium and Penn State's Beaver Stadium.

LSU is one and the other is LANE STADIUM in Blacksburg, VA. Lane Stadium is an ugly and intimidating stadium that seem to get inside other teams heads when you play there.

Lane Stadium was rated as the number one home field advantage in all of college football in 2005 by Rivals.com. It is also #2 on the "Top 10 Scariest Places To Play" list on espn.com only falling behind LSU's Tiger Stadium.

However, I think that one of the best tricks to a stadium is the pink visitor's locker room in Kinnick Stadium for Iowa. That would piss me off if I was a visitor.

When asking a question like this, you really should ask for a top ten, because there is no way to say who is the best. Penn State, Tennesee, LSU, Florida, OSU, and many others could be. The crowd that I saw affect a game the most was Penn State in 2005 against OSU. This years game at happy valley was very loud, too. The guy above me that used all those quotes about people saying it is the toughest place to play, you will see coaches say that about everywhere they play.

the big 12 without a doubt. At one point they had 3 of the top 5 teams and 4 of the top 10. In prior years I would normally say the SEC but their teams played horrible this year. As for the toughest stadium I would have to say the the Swamp. Its crazy down there.

Im an LSU fan so obviously im picking LSU. But you need to consider taking Neyland off your list. I would have to say that Auburn and Florida are much worse than Neyland. Neyland Stadium was not loud at all compared to Tiger Stadium.

Ohio State's "Horseshoe", and I will agree with Tennessee's Neyland Stadium.

TIGER STADIUM !!!!!! ALL THE WAY!!!

I have been in every SEC stadium and Tiger Stadium is by far the loudest. The Swamp is pretty tough though, because the fans are so close.

Lane Stadium. Hands down. Doesn't matter who Tech is playing the seats are always packed and the stadium is always rocking.

Not to mention they have the best entrance.
