My court appointed attorney had advice me to plead no contest to a misdeameanor. But when I got to court and the Judge ask me to make a plea. I stood up and said loud and clear innocent and I want a trial by jury. My court appointed attorney just wants to save the state money. So he got in my face and said I told you how to plea. I repleyed you work for me I dont work for you. You do what I tell you to do counselor.. Well the rest is history.

I have a hyper link from "Sheet 1" that links to a hidden "Sheet2"....I used a VB Code....My question is: Is there anyway to add to that code so that once I have linked to the hidden sheet (which the VB Code unhides), is there a way to automatically have the "Sheet2" get hidden again when i navigate away from the sheet?...Please Help

When I served in the military a few years ago, the standard was (and still is) a unit in formation would salute an approaching officer.

What I also learned in the military, was that the Russians had this reversed. The power of the people was so esteemed that officers saluted the unit. Now, I'm sure that individual soldiers bumping into officers would still initiate a salute, but when an officer addressed a formation of soldiers, it was the officer saluting first.

I think we can learn something from this. In our American society of freedom, individualism and "Power by the People, For the People, etc..." is it not elitist that a formation of soldiers standing at attention would have to salute an officer first?

I think we need to change this protocol in our armed services. While officers lead, they should always acknowledge where their real authority comes from: the very "People" in or out of uniform.

In reality I have a Downing Street petition running on their website regarding the environment and I dream most nights about checking the site to see how many signatures have been added and am always delighted at the response.
However the reality is a little different - it's been a hard slog just to get 22 signers.
Why then do I keep having this same dream which has such a positive outcome...thanx

We are paying for our wedding ourselves. However, fiance's mom has given us $1,000. to help. My mom has paid for my dress & the ceremony site. She will be paying for a limo for the bridal party & is contributing $500. for the honeymoon.

I know you are supposed to list the parents if they sponser the wedding. Although they have contributed some, total cost will be near $10,000 and we are paying the bulk ourselves.

So, since our parents did help, should their names be on the invitations?

I have a 1-year-old son. I'm going to wait another year if I do decide to have another one. But how did you feel growing up as an only child or as a child with siblings? I was the only child for 10 years and I hated it. I ALWAYS wanted a brother or sister just so I could have a playmate around all the time. My parents are both RN's so they worked around the clock and left me at home alone most of the time. I used to envy kids with siblings and it was really an issue for me. I don't want my son to go through this because I'm in nursing school right now and I don't want my son to feel lonely when I'm at school and work. What do you think. I know many kids do very well being the only child but it really can have a negative affect on others.

They must insist on every fetus go full term, but once the child is born they veto SCHIP so the child won't have any health care. I guess they expect newborns to go get jobs.

I used to be depressed, dizzy spells, no energy, headackes, anxious etc.

I ate take out food nearly every day, burgers, chicken strips, fries etc etc.

I checked my blood pressure a month ago and it was high, the doctor told me to go on a low salt diet. I did and only started eating steamed vegetables, fruit, unsatled nuts, fresh meats and fish etc. No take out.

After about 2 - 3 weeks I started feeling great, no more headaches, dizziness, I am happier and feel so relaxed with energy to burn.

Who else thinks that eating take out all the time which is loaded with salt and preservatives and who knows what else.

Could it be to blame for a lot of things we suffer from?

Oh and my blood pressure came down too.

I bought my condo 2.5 years ago with a 5/1 arm. I thought I'd be out of here by year 5, but with the market the way it is, it might not happen. I don't even know if I CAN refinance an arm. Does anyone have any suggestions so I don't get saddled with the adjustable rate come 2.5 years? Thanks!
