Why yes I do

No, I do not own a copy. I have however, borrowed from the library and attempted to read it. But it was as violent as the Old Testament, and that just turned me off.

And no, atheists won't all of a sudden turn to Islam, if they only read the Qur'an...

I used to, but it was lost in a controlled living room fire last winter, along with NLT and KJV versions of the Christian bible. I do, however, have a copy of "The Book of Going Forth By Day" and a Stone Edition Tanakh. We'll see if those are more eternally unchanging upon the next snow fall.

No. Why would we?
It'd be the same thing as having a Bible. We don't believe in any religion, not just Christians.
It is usually that Christians in America are usually self righteous and have the biggest problem with us, like we are personally offending them. Even if a small minority may outlash against them, there are the Bible bangers that do it to us too.
I say we end this incessant provoking, alright? And then maybe we can get along just fine.

I wish people would explain their questions. There should be a follow up to this, a reason why perhaps. Why would you think an Atheist would have a copy of that?

I have the Yusuf Ali translation, which I consider quite good; the footnotea and explanatory material are helpful. I have read it from cover to cover, along with another translation which I have not kept. The two were in agreement on all basic points, including the errors in the original.

Why would an Atheist have/want a copy of the Qur'an? So they can sift through another book of personally irrelevant drivel just to be more convinced of their beliefs?

Yes, I checked out a copy from the library a few months ago. I found nothing insightful. I'm convinced that incredulous people would not believe in this religion if they had not been raised with in it or subject to institutions, customs, and cultures focused on Islam.

i don't have a copy of any religious books

I lack a belief in all gods so (to me) the religion surrounding specific ones is pretty irrelevant

Seems like a dumb question. Why would an atheist have an Islamic religious book.
