I am a Sixers fan and they have been playing really good defense recently and running the fast break well, and they play in the East. So I want to know if anyone else thinks that they can make the playoffs.

my mother a few weeks ago was diagnosed with osteoporosis cancer, which is a very late in development and she was given a couple of weeks to live. the doctors told me that she can survive at the most a few weeks if i put her on a machine that pumps her blood for her but it will be very painful for her while she is awake and she wont even be able to move or talk. he also said that i could just pull the plug on her and let her go peacefully even though i would technically be killing her. i don't want to kill my mom and i don't want her to die slowly and painfully but her husband is dead and i have to make the choice soon. what should i do, I know I shouldn’t make my mom die slowly and painfully but I can’t let her go.

I really had developed feelings for him. It was the kind of thing where I just treasured every single thing about him and felt so happy when I was with him.

I am just not a confident person. (My childhood made it hard for me to be confident in myself). I have made progress, but I am a people pleaser. Not a lot of people are attracted to that.

It hurts because I want to be with someone who will value me as I am. I feel so sad. It seems like nothing ever changes. I got my hopes up with this relationship and now I feel so let down. This guy gave me a lot of positive signals and now I feel stupid for believing them.

Maybe I just haven't met "the right person" yet, but why is it that I would feel so strongly about him if it was "wrong"?

There is this man that lives about 2 and a half hours from me. He's 30 and I am 25. He lives with his mom (so he says). We started talking on a free dating site in November. Then we started chatting on AIM and sometimes through texts. We used to talk on AIM more often that we do now. There are whole days that I do not hear from him. But I attempt to get in touch with him. He likes to play poker, bowling, and pool at night after work. He has some friend that's a girl that he goes fishing with on Sundays. I've sent him e-mails, he doesn't reply. I sent him a Christmas card to his house. He hasn't sent anything back to me yet. I am putting way more into this 'Relationship' than he is. He said that he wants to meet me after Christmas. I have doubts about that. What's this sound like to you? Could he be hiding things??!

This is all taken from the death certificate so they did not know much about my poor Grandfather. I do however have his date of birth and what I really would love to know is what he did with his life. Did he marry again, what was his main employment? What happened to his brother John Simpson (Known in the family as Jock)
Are there any children. Maybe he was divorced and the family did not want to know him. Perhaps they might like to know that he had 6 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren in the UK

Is increasingly obvious that the GOP is acutely aware that in this coming election, along with their other liabilities, for the first time in memory they will not have a financial advantage in campaign funds. The Democrats have raised more money.
On the other hand there is no better organization than the Evangelicals when it comes to major fund raising. This is well out of the league of just passing the plate.
Does the name Tammy Lee baker ring a bell? She had her own major theme park. They peddle prosperity beads and healing cloths on prime time major TV networks and those spots are not cheep. In the old days they placed their hands on your head now it is in your pockets. When Huckabee needed ready cash he hooked up with major tobacco. The Evangelicals who have been asked to appear before congress, and should be siphoned shortly are being investigated for their tax exempt status. This is major league money.

Now the question is: they did not get all the control they wanted by just delivering votes. What will they demand if they deliver both the votes and the money? Everyone on your knees will move out of the church and on to the streets, the schools and our places of work. Are you ready for this?
