Pissed off at how judgemental the world is to overweight women?

I am losing a lot of weight, healthaly.

But my motivation is not health but rather social acceptance.

I feel like my entire life I have been really patient with dating and hoped someone would like me for me.

I have been getting a lot of the "run around" thing from guys or they only want to sleep with me.

I have tried online dating and they seem to like me up until we meet and then they don't call me anymore or similar situations.

While I have been patient and thinking that some of these guys are jerks, my thinner friends seem to have unlimited dating options.

I am losing weight so that I too can have options.

I even had one guy I met drive right past me and he didn't even stop to meet me.

I am not a mean person, my pics are recent, my photos are chest up and I look thinner but am 202 lbs. (from 238)

How do I deal with constant rejection?
How do I not be bitter once I am closer to my ideal size?

Can someone recommend a good book?

Alright, I've been having a really hard time finding something to read. I have certain things I won't read about and that's maybe why, but anyways, for those of you out there who've read good books can you recommend me some?

Here's what I like and what I don't like: I like my books to have romance, but I like YA and not Adult romances. Those just seem thrashy to me. I don't want a romance where they're "getting it on" or anything like that. I like Action/Adventure, Fantasy, basically anything besides Horror and Mystery.

Here are the books I've already read: The Twilight Saga, The Abhorsen Trilogy, The Bartimeaus Trilogy, Harry Potter Series, I've already read A Great and Terrible Beauty. I've begun the Vampire Kisses series. I don't really fancy Sarah Dessen's books, or Gossip Girl or anything remotely close to that.

Okay, so can anyone recommend me a good book. Thanks!!! P.S. I like my books to be long, but it's okay if they're not that long.

Why does everyone always suggest to tell her and ask her out when a guy says he likes a girl?

I'm currently majoring in human psychology, and these are all wrong.

First of all, those are all wrong. Women like confident guys. If you ask her out, it shows to her that she's in the position of power, as she can reject you. If you compliment her a lot, it shows to her that you are so obssessed with her, that you will do anything for her. Again she knows she's in a position of power.

So let's cover this up: Confidence is the key.

How do you start a conversation? Ask question that have to be answered with more thena simple yes or no, that require more elaboration. That way they can lead to more questions. Think of it as an interview.

Next, you can start teasing, but be sure to include sexual innuendos, because if you don't, she won't know if you're interested in her and you'll be in the friend zone. Also, use lots of touching, AKA kino. This shows to her you like her.

One other thing: don't date middle school or high school freshmen girls. They are very unstable at that age.

It appears there are alot of people that really don`t look outside of the box, and thats really very sad. You quote the bible , but do you really understand what it all means? You say that if you have those powers then your not a true christian, thats funny couldn`t jesus heal people? I have found alot of selfproclaimed christians to be somewhat hypocritcal. I never claimed to be a christian nor have i ever wanted to be one, I just am what i am.

Should I even waste my time?

There's this guy I'm interested in. He's very busy with his PhD and working tons of overtime. We've emailed back and forth and said he was interested in hanging out in the "near future". He's just finished finals. Should I ask him to dinner?

Hanging out with him before I've noticed he's extremely awkward around women. (Not gay) Friends tell me I'd need to make the first move. He's the type a guy with his nose buried in a book. The couple times we've hung out with friends he seemed interested. I'm really out of practice and not used to asking a guy out.
