I am a Sixers fan and they have been playing really good defense recently and running the fast break well, and they play in the East. So I want to know if anyone else thinks that they can make the playoffs.

Lets answer this logically based on the process of elimination.
You got your for sure playoff teams:
Boston
Detroit
Cleveland
Orlando
Washington
Toronto
That leaves 2 more spots left for the 7th and 8th seed...therefore not much margin of error if Sixers wanna make the playoffs. Currently they're tied with the Nets, and Milwaukee. and Indiana is at .500. Dont think Indiana making the playoffs, however Milwaukee might and barring a Jason Kidd trade, so will the Nets after they get their act together and VC starts playing some damn ball. Its way too early to tell, but I would have to say Yes they DO have a shot definately if they keep stealing road games and playing Defense. Andre miller is awesome right now too.

The idea of the sixers getting into the playoffs is like the detroit lions making a ten game win...

not a heck of a chance (too bad for the lions)

i think of they are able to! once you beat a team like dallas, you're very self certain and you go on a streak...i think of they are able to truly make the playoffs surprisingly with the EAST being the LEAST

I'm sorry to tell you this, but i don't think so. the east is really tough this year and they'll have to do much better than run the fast break.

i'd say if jason kidd gets traded they could possibly beat out the nets for a spot... they definitely have a chance.. but probably wont make it out of the first round

Chances are pretty slim, they are a pretty bad team at the moment. It will take a few years to rebuild there, there just isn't much hope for them right now.

of course they can, even Bobcats can. They have Wallace. playing his allstar game in Charlotte.

If Dalembert uses all his strength and confidence. maybe he'll be next to Shaq,
