My boyfriend says he want a woman to take charge i.e. make plans to get togather, pay the bills, and have her own career etc. I don't have a problem with those things because I've been a single parent for the last 13 years. The only problem I have is always having to be the one to contact him first. He wants to hear how much I miss him or want him but he never tells me back.

A Government think tank The New Economics Foundation has said "Nintendo WII consoles are more responsible for Global warming than 180,000 flights to New York. But that is not the best bit. Their advice is this For Christmas don't give gifts give personal time instead to cut Carbon Emissions.
To me this is just the most rediculous thing i have ever heard and more scare mongering by this Politically Corrupt i mean Correct Government to have Christmas banned to please the Extreme Racial Equality idiots.

Does anyone know the best way to connect a Wii ti my HDTV to give the best picture? I know the Wii is not HD but the lead that came with it is just the basic yellow, white, red that goes into my componen or into a scart adaptor, then in the scart socket at the back. The Wii settings show 480i 480p and EDTV (presumably HDTV). The EDTV option is blank therefore I cant select it. I think this will give a better picture as its all a bit washy and blurry edged. What type of connector should i be using to get the best picture? I have the lastest Sony with all the inputs on my TV for you info.. I currently just have the 480p selected which i know is better than 480i..

My first suggestion would be to ban the so-called music channel, Channel U. Which rather than being a showcase for young U.K music talent, transmits stereotypes of rundown council estates, drug use, violence and misogyny to those that watch it especially young children who see it as a true representation of life where they live and feel they have to live up to it.

Secondly I feel there are not enough Black role models in fields other than the entertainment industry. Rather than wanting a normal job, most of the young men I know have expectations to become a famous MC/rapper, making millions of pounds, and although I agree with this idea as a hobby, I know of too many who have dropped out of education to pursue this dream which has subsequently led to nothing.
The young Black males where I live do not fear the law, are not responsible (many are young parents), drop out of education early, smoke cannabis regularly without knowledge of health effects they are lost. But how do we help?

Some of the torture methods were barbic and uncivilized (and this was coming from people who kept saying that they were civilized people, yeah right). Some of the trials would have been laugh out of a courthouse today. Some of the victims were killed on the words of another person who was making the stories up.

And to the ones who say that the burning time should be brought back, why? Are they willing to bring back this time of terror and fear.

I am so sick of working minumum wage doing retail (and food). I am almost done with my Associates of Science degree and I am beginning to get impatient. Is there any kind of job I can snag with an Associates of Science? Anything at all? Answering phones somewhere, an internship, ANYTHING? I can't take it anymore. I don't want to be in retail until I get my bachelors.
